It’s crazy I was just looking at my walls thinking about painting to wall behind my TV a darker color when I paint the apartment and I put this on lol. Great video 😊 oh and how dare Pantone steal your pallet 😁 ❤.
Im really enjoying the newer videos you are doing! The vloggish with a theme. Im glad that you are doing so well on your channel! keep up what you are doing, The colors that you normally do seem to fit your artwork, I like the colors that really pop and the cheerfulness of your work. cant wait to see more of the coil building that you do if you decide to make some more pieces ;)
I’m so glad you are enjoying it! I’m trying to up my game on TH-cam, but you never know how it’ll be received haha I agree that I prefer my typical bright colors, but it’s always good to try something experimental and new :) More coil building is coming!!
I love your painting in the hallways very pretty deftly your ahead of the colors..enjoyed video found it interesting and informative thank you for showing us your creative art process. ✍🎨🖌💙
Hey, accidental video caller here...😅 I like these colors a lot. I would find it challenging with all the neutrals, but it looks lovely the way you've laid it out here. I've not mixed pastels, gem colors and neutrals before. I'll go have a play! Thank you always for your inspiration!!!
Ahaha hey butt dialer 🤣 I like to have neutrals in my work but I rarely make them the center. So this was a fun experiment for me! Just what I needed to get back into painting :) Have fun playing, friend!!
Ah, neutral bloom, that is interesting as an almost opposite of your usual bright pop. I really like the painting in your Hall. You clearly were ahead of those fashion guys lol 😂
Sometimes it’s good to try something different, but I get the feeling I’ll be sticking to my usual bright pop haha Who knows? Maybe I’ll predict next years trends through a 2025 painting lol
Boy that hallway painting is popping in the most well balanced way! Love it. Though I am not a fan of all those browns and neutrals in the colour trends I think it’s an interesting activity to pull specific colour palette inspiration. I wonder if that exercise could apply to artwork that inspires you, or the view out of your window. I am also curious if you will be playing more with different imagery approaches (like in your sketchbook work last year) can’t wait to hear what the plan is around your residency! 😁🥰❤️🤩
Yeah - if I went off the refinery29 article that first inspired me, I would've had more jewel tones. But overall "earth tones" seems to be this year's theme. I think using existing artwork could be interesting. For now, I want to make a big teal superbloom (for art fair purposes), but on residency, it'll be play/experimental time :) Thanks for watching!
Aw thank you for saying so. I genuinely love that one too :) Hoping to display it at some upcoming art events this year! Maybe it’ll sell since it’s “on trend” ;) Thanks for watching, friend!
