I remember hearing that the worm like fish which is indeed very small compared to the Gargantuan Leviathen, it's actually larger. According to the PDA it was probobly on the top of the food chain with it's size so the bones are most likely a new born.
Well, considering one has a beak and the other has actual teeth. That should answer your question..... The one with teeth is meant for attacking creatures and is obviously a predator. The one with a beak is probably more into foraging for food or eating mullesks. Taxonomically the leviathan would win
@mellecollina lol i mean ocean crawlers do exist maybe the juvenile krakens eat the ocean crawlers? Theyre decently sized, id say like 6 to 8 would fill up a kraken or at least the one we see in the sunken pearl tall tale
In the sot lore the kraken is known for being carnivorous and each tentacle acts like a mouth having teeth on the inside it also doesn’t ever attack with its beak.
Nope. The Garg in the Bone Fields is about 400m long. The PDA suggests that this is the front third of the creature. That puts it at 1200. If you count the 100m long skull in the front third, that bumps it up to 1500m long.
@@GodzillaJawz It's only assumedly the juvenile and adult that are shown to us in the actual game. No, the mod doesn't count because it's not official.

And also the Gargantuan leviathan in subnautica will keep growing until it's demise. And the fact that Gargantuan leviathan's can live upon thousands and thousands of years, who knows what it's actual size?
The Kraken mother is so damn big, like it’s actually the same size as the main body of the Gargantuan, imagine if it was like a secret boss in sea of theives
i suggest looking up a video on the biggest creatures in gaming its very interesting and yes some things look big but the actual size is mind blowing, such as the leviathan he mentioned. it really puts it into perspective how small we are compared to what could be out there and vise versa
Honestly that alone is terrifying, that the old mother roars and everything shakes. No sound just shakes, the earth itself trembles in her presence... or is that you? I really need to get back into Sea of Thieves, too bad I have a console version so locked behind membership pay walls.
The garg since the fossil that's only a third in size is a baby garg not an adult. And even then an elderly garg would probably be able to consume ghost leviathans freely within the void due to how much more massive they are due to only needing to shed off old scales to grow larger so they can't age to death. That baby probably starved down in the lost river or fell to the brine sea down there
You are wrong here is proof from the wiki: "The skeleton is enormous. The skull by itself is just under 100 meters in length, almost as long as the entire body of a Sea Dragon Leviathan. The two lower front teeth measure at 11.4 meters in height and the two upper teeth at 10.3 meters. The largest of the structures resembling eye sockets measure 9.7 meters in diameter. The skeleton that remains measures at 402 meters in length, and with the PDA estimating that it is only one third of the complete specimen, the creature would likely have measured between 1,100 and 1,300 meters long. whilst a much smaller but otherwise identical skull can be found in the Ghost Forest, presumably from a juvenile specimen of the species." Here is its pda for you to read and remove your misconceptions: 'The fossilized remains of an extinct super predator. Its sheer size would have prohibited it from entering such an enclosed space, suggesting the geography of the planet has shifted around it over time. I've done more hosting to make some holidays extra special and fun for friends, which has also brought back the nostalgia in a slightly evolved way (you get the experience of being "in charge" and absorbing others' joy).
ok ill agree and add another one for you...which is bigger the gargantuan leviathan or the kraken on the game Atlas?
I remember hearing that the worm like fish which is indeed very small compared to the Gargantuan Leviathen, it's actually larger. According to the PDA it was probobly on the top of the food chain with it's size so the bones are most likely a new born.
You mean the skeleton with all the holes? Or just that random skull?
What worm like fish?
I love how for figuring out the distance in game he just cuts to “some guy on reddit” 😂
Gargs never stop growing, and the one in the lost river is approximately 5 km long
Well, considering one has a beak and the other has actual teeth. That should answer your question.....
The one with teeth is meant for attacking creatures and is obviously a predator.
The one with a beak is probably more into foraging for food or eating mullesks.
Taxonomically the leviathan would win
Does that mean there are mega mollusks too?!
@@mellecollina lol probably
@mellecollina lol i mean ocean crawlers do exist maybe the juvenile krakens eat the ocean crawlers?
Theyre decently sized, id say like 6 to 8 would fill up a kraken or at least the one we see in the sunken pearl tall tale
Also the gargantuan doesnt have a size limit
In the sot lore the kraken is known for being carnivorous and each tentacle acts like a mouth having teeth on the inside it also doesn’t ever attack with its beak.
Imagine a fish that's longer than Burj Khalifa
Try the big worm from sky wars and the worms from the scary movie
Also the specified lenght of gargantuan leviathan is 5 kilometers
Nope. The Garg in the Bone Fields is about 400m long. The PDA suggests that this is the front third of the creature. That puts it at 1200. If you count the 100m long skull in the front third, that bumps it up to 1500m long.
@@dominickeijzer5844 child juv adult and elder are all things
@@GodzillaJawz It's only assumedly the juvenile and adult that are shown to us in the actual game. No, the mod doesn't count because it's not official.
In lore, if I remember, Old Mother was only beaten when they lured her onto Kraken’s Fall and chained her to the island surface with magic metal shackles. The shackles were later used to create our cannons that morph to fit pirates.
The father Gargantuan leviathan(the grandpa aka the the skull): Are ya sure 'bout that bud?
I think if these games had a crossover it would be really cool and scary
im playing both of these games for the moment and i gotta say its surprising to see them both in a single video
The sand worms from no man's sky
Fr
not as big
How big is that?
And it could also be the Leviathan is still a child and could also go beyond adult size
The fosil is an adult but the scariest fact is that a Gargantuan never stops growing and I think if it dies is because of starvation, sickness or something killed it

And also the Gargantuan leviathan in subnautica will keep growing until it's demise. And the fact that Gargantuan leviathan's can live upon thousands and thousands of years, who knows what it's actual size?
Nothing says either is true.
At most 1 kilometerish because starvation
It cannot grow indefinitely
The Kraken mother is so damn big, like it’s actually the same size as the main body of the Gargantuan, imagine if it was like a secret boss in sea of theives
some tips!!
what
The moment I heard what the that's the gargantuan would be up against compared the size. I just said the hell, the gargantuan never stops growing.
i suggest looking up a video on the biggest creatures in gaming its very interesting and yes some things look big but the actual size is mind blowing, such as the leviathan he mentioned. it really puts it into perspective how small we are compared to what could be out there and vise versa
A wise jester once said our universe is just the stomach of a non dying gargantuan leviathan
Everyone = talking about the garg
Me = is that the northstar serpent
Comparing 2 of my favorite games is lowkey something I would never see in my life
Had to watch the beginning twice just to make sure 💀
There’s always “some guy on Reddit” who has already answered your question no matter how strange it may be
Conspiracy theory her these two animals are the same creature just at two verry distant times
When your in either game. The probability is you already are.
The ghost leviathans don't stop growing so they have to live in the void
Northstar serpent looking ahh
Subnautica boys stay winning in incomprehensible horrors beyond human imagination
POV: just vibing to abandon ship bc it’s the best subnautica song
Honestly that alone is terrifying, that the old mother roars and everything shakes. No sound just shakes, the earth itself trembles in her presence... or is that you? I really need to get back into Sea of Thieves, too bad I have a console version so locked behind membership pay walls.
Not surprised at all, this is a freaking colossus

Самый большой Гаргантюа из мода длинной 14 километров 😅
This is where thalasphobia ptsd was created
My base headphones did NOT like that large mother roar 😂
The garg since the fossil that's only a third in size is a baby garg not an adult. And even then an elderly garg would probably be able to consume ghost leviathans freely within the void due to how much more massive they are due to only needing to shed off old scales to grow larger so they can't age to death. That baby probably starved down in the lost river or fell to the brine sea down there
You are wrong here is proof from the wiki:
"The skeleton is enormous.
The skeleton that remains measures at 402 meters in length, and with the PDA estimating that it is only one third of the complete specimen, the creature would likely have measured between 1,100 and 1,300 meters long.
whilst a much smaller but otherwise identical skull can be found in the Ghost Forest, presumably from a juvenile specimen of the species."
Here is its pda for you to read and remove your misconceptions:
'The fossilized remains of an extinct super predator. Its sheer size would have prohibited it from entering such an enclosed space, suggesting the geography of the planet has shifted around it over time. A true apex predator.
- Dated at approximately three million years old
- Rib cage measurements suggest the creature was eel-like in structure
- Calculations suggest this is only the front third of the specimen
- The remains now support a vibrant microcosm of life
NOTE: There are a series of precise, angular indentations on the rib cage, suggesting a third party has taken samples from the specimen at a previous time"
