If you just got a Cricut cutting machine for Christmas and now you are ready to learn how to layer heat transfer vinyl (HTV), join me LIVE as I walk you through the steps to make a layered design!
I was live in a previous tutorial and I demonstrated how to make a t-shirt using a pre-made design. If you missed it, here is the link to that video • CRICUT FOR BEGINNERS: ...
We will not be making this exact design; but I will demonstrate the process of using this font to create your own layered file. I will be using Valentine's colors that include pink, white, red, and/or black. I will be using Siser Easyweed.

Can you show us how to make a cellphone Skin using printable HTV or just regular Pattern HTV.
Used to think Macs were too expensive but by the time I had to replace a windows laptop every two to three years I could have gotten a Mac that would still be working. Once I converted I never looked back.

So you can layer plain vinyl but just not glitter vinyl?
My next question 😃 is I bought sister easy weed holographic and I cutt it and it did not weed at all ... How do I set my cricut... Everyone told me custom .. but what is the actual setting I need ? I have a air 2 thank you delonda you are amazing and have got me where I'm at today 💕
Try keeping the EA2 on custom and using the Infusible Ink transfer sheet setting.

I have a question for you Ms. Delonda. First I love your videos I watch them to leave more everyday even while at work lol. I wanted to do this design but I’m not sure if I should use the siser paper and if I need to buy a polyester shirt to apply it? It is fist with light brown and I wanted it on a white shirt that says freedom and equality. I don’t know how to show you so you could see what I am talking about lol.

Can you use infusible ink markers to color pictures in a coloring book and then put it on a t-shirt?
You would have to color on paper that can withstand the heat from a heat press.
So if I'm making a shirt with siser easy weed that's half sunflower with half white quotes would you press the same if I did a holographic on the sunflower?
I think you should follow the recommended settings for the brand of vinyl that you are using.

Does HTV give that ‘rubbery’ feel that is often found on shirts purchased at stores. I want to make a bunch of shirts but I don’t want a ‘home made’ look or feel. In your opinion does HTV produce a good feel to the touch?

Hi there! I haven't placed two images together. But if you are making a design, you can go up to 11.5 inches wide and the design will look just fine.
