Technical question: I have always heard that the tascam series have a lot of self-noise. Did you notice that while editing the audio or is it not too bad?
I noticed it made a glitching sound here and there like my other mics, but it actually has less static background noise. Although the sensitivity wasn’t maxed in this vid. Holding the tascam and moving it around makes noise but is good asmr noise imo
I think the 3dio is the worst when it comes to self noise it’s like a weird echo like you are in a cave, but all the mics here always sound pristine and perfect❤

I was watching the vid and the new yt feature makes it so that the comments scroll through, someone said its underrated and i was like woah lemme check the views. And i totally agree why does this have so less views? Its good video quality no background noise,sometimes it tingles even me (i watch asmr for over 6 years) and the backgrounds dark too. Hope it gets fixed.
I recently started watching ASMR and it's giving me bizarre visual experiences where I can see the sounds. It isn't a projective experience, it's like my brain is picking up these noises and it's interacting with my vision somehow and I'm seeing, without my eyes, what I think is my brain processing visual stimulation as if it came from my eyes. I get these really bizarre visual dichotomies. It isn't anything too profound, some textures can be very overwhelming, and some settings can be very dissociating, but it's got me very curious.

the tascams internal amplifer picks up data noise from your cell phone. turn off Wi-Fi and put your phone near the screen and you'll hear it.

Tascam has been easiest by far. Portable with batteries. Other than that it depends on what type of sound you want!
