I had 250 pulls saved up for yelan, was on 50/50 and 0 pity and had C0 from her first banner, my goal was C3 but I wouldve been okay with C2. Then I let my girlfriend pull for me and she got me C6 without even using up all pulls. Then in around I had a misfortune streak in the golden troupe domain, after a few days I asked her if we should farm together. First run, three artifacts, two of which double crit and both rolled 40+CV Since then I'm exlusively farming domains with her in coop and I can unironically see the rise in luck. (Even without that, playing together is really nice and I made my best moments/memories in genshin when I was playing together with her)

@@luutio9000 You can lose 50/50 and still get a 5* character, but it will be one you were not pulling for. Once that happens the next 5* is GUARANTEED to be the banner character, then the probability resets. If you don't include the guaranteed pull after you lose 50/50, you can theoretically lose 50/50 every time.
Just to share my pulls story: the day of Father's banner, i finally got Aventurine in 7 pulls (on his first day, lost to Bronya), them won the 50/50 with Arlecchino (had 55 pity already, and 81 got her). Most of the time i win my 50/50 (especially gi). GOD BLESS EVERYONE PULLS 🎉.
