I have been listening to this every time I go walking and running. Was really in shape when I was younger in the Army. Later got diagnosed with a lung autoimmune disease. Really jacked me up. Recently had shoulder surgery and decided I am going to do whatever it takes to get back in some form of shape. It has been agonizingly slow. But each day I feel a little stronger and can go a little further. Thanks for the continued motivation.

I started running after a year off. It was quite discouraging to see how my performance had suffered. I started to continually think that I'm "better than yesterday," and it keeps me motivated. It's easy to hold onto your past self...don't do that.

Each of these gems would be great as its own mini-video. I feel like I want to hear one and contemplate it before I go on to the next, even though I know they are synergistic.

Ultimately it’s taking control of your mind in any given situation. Focus at the task in hand and give it your best shot. Whatever will be will be, it’s not up to you.
Thanks for bringing this amazing philosophy into the line light! 🙏👊🏽

Why am I holding back at my job? Because I know when people work hard and do their job well, they get more work for the same pay. I save my best for my family and friends.

  • @_Dibbler_

Why dont I always give my best? Because its mentally draining. If you try to give your best on anything and everything you will be mediocre when it counts, because you will be exhausted. Give your best where it counts, allow yourself to recover. Which doesnt mean be lazy. It means that consistency is more important than giving all you have and this consistency will give you the ability to be great when you actually need to be great

I see your point but i like the overlap or duplication as it all builds up. It's like with each video there is a built in review.
