I see this video about the history of laptops on... my laptop, a Lenovo Yoga 9i. Pretty advanced! It has a touchscreen (that enables to use the laptop without a mouse most of the time), and you can fold the screen under the keyboard, and then it behaves like a tablet. It has a SSD of 1 TB which make this laptop pretty expensive. The pixels are so small that they aren't visible. The text has a very high quality. Although it is a very expensive, I love this laptop!

My first laptop was a hand-me-down Sony Vaio and it ran like shit. I remember in the 5th grade being shocked when my friend came with a small thin laptop on electronic day and played Minecraft. I currently own a late 2019 razer blade stealth with a gtx 1650 and I am still amazed at the performance of this machine since I have not owned a laptop since my first Vaio.
I own a new 2022 vaio and I would tell you, they have improved alot, it performs way better than my old hp spectre and my pc, I used to own a 2008 vaio which was also really slow and had like 2gb of ram, now my new vaio has 32 gb of ram and is very good for casual gaming or school use.
But it's still really expensive

Good ol' memories... ah!
Great 👌😊.
Laptops from 80's look like a toy, and realized how much technology evolved over the decades. And its designs also. However, just like smartphones design haven't changed last few years, laptops' design hadn't changed nuch since 2010...bendable laptops will be the next major design change in laptops.

The Toshiba Portégé M100 (2003) wasn’t the first laptop with a dvd drive. While studying in England in 1999-2000, I was gifted a Compaq Presario laptop (I’ve completely forgotten the model) with a cd drive that already doubled as dvd drive - I still have some of the movies dvds I bought back then and watched on that laptop.
