Hey G, we found the same roof repair material at a Menards in the Midwest. It installs very easily. We've just come off a 1.200 mile road trip and the sound reduction was quite noticeable, and no odd smells. Thanks for the recommendation.
If the Volvo like Buddy are gour daily driver it is good to keep the car all original if it is still good, if you have access to some second hand parts ,it is better to keep the cost down.

I’ve used a combination of new and used. Suspension, bearings, seals etc always new. Everything else good used is fine. Rebuilding an engine new.
