I imagine this particular concert was in Seoul. Korean venues usually discourage audiences from being wild and loud.
They ARE singing live, though, and always have, on stage and on radio shows. There may be backing vocals. They are from a smaller company, and don't usually have a live band that accompany them.
The differently colored handheld mikes were a gift from an InSomnia a while back. Even if they're not turned on, I imagine they hold quite a sentimental value for the ladies, and make cute colorful props.

Try Dreamcatcher's "Fairytale." It has the live audio complete with fan chants. The videos have footage from several tour locations. The audio is slightly cleaned up to remove screaming fan sounds.

This song was first released on The Raid of Dream album and is less rock/heavy. For the 2024 Luck Inside 7 Doors tour, they changed to a rock/metal version for the live performances. This video is the live vocals captured on stage in Seoul and then studio produced for the clip and single release.

this isn't the video you want to check out for a 'live' 😅. I listed a few in previous reactions, mostly fancams because those are the only true live you can get. as I mentioned before, 99% of 'live' performances you see from kpop productions are not true live in that either the vocals are cleaned and pitch corrected, or even simply lipsync. this 'concert' video is 100% cleaned up vocals with all background removed. at their concerts they will at times remix their songs which causes fans to beg for a spotify version. when they released this concert version video, the same audio was also released on spotify. the video was taken from a seoul concert and korean fans aren't known for being especially crazy lol. western fans get into it a lot more and you will often see them hyping up the fans which was totally removed here.
don't avoid the fancams, most are much higher quality than korean music show productions imo because they don't cut scenes every 5 seconds. many are in 4k as well and you get a wide angle so you can see most of their interactions. check out 'wake up' in la a few years ago - th-cam.com/video/MglG81-TDGU/w-d-xo.html
most dc venues are around 2-4k so pretty small. tickets usually around $100 for GA, up to $250 if there's seated near the front. the small headset mics are for choreo but they often use backing track when they do choreo so it's not what you want to check out if you want to hear raw live vocals. for songs that don't have choreo, they will use hand held mics and just roam around the stage, interacting with fans a lot.

-They were singing live, they always do. Sometimes the backtrack is louder than other times. In this video the studio version of the song is overlayed onto the concert footage. Since this version of the song has no official release they basically released the rock version of CoTS with a music video and all the live vocals, fanchants and adlibs removed so people had an official clean version of the song. Sometimes their backing track will be louder like when Siyeon was visibly sick and dizzy.

-The different mics are because they have different settings as per the song requirements. When they sing while dancing they use their in-ear mic otherwise they use their handheld mics. Sometimes you can even see the members gesture off stage to the sound engineer to adjust the sound between Propose (with choreo) and rising (without).
-South Korean audiences behave differently as concert etiquettes there are different. The most they are allowed to do is wave the lightstick and do the fanchant.
-They do a mix of choreo and non choreo performances. We go from OOTD to Black or white which are both choreo heavy then we get a stand around and sing performance. Or we go from choreo heavy propose to choreo less Rising which is a vocal beast to perform. Or we go from choreo heavy Shatter to also choreo heavy Deja vu but with the choreo for the first verse removed to allow them to catch their breath.

Good to see you guys back. I was wondering if you were going to continue your DC reactions.
Their concerts tend to be a mix of choreographed songs (title tracks) and non-choreographed (b-sides). The split is pretty close to 50/50. Curse of the spider is a B-side from the Raid of Dream album with Deja Vu as the title track. The original was released in 2019 and this version is a new arrangement that's heavier, that was introduced for this concert series.
There are some odd English lines in a lot of KPop songs and since this is an older one they were working with less resources when this one was written. The newer stuff is less prone to that.
You're right that this isn't the concert audio. This is a studio recording over the concert footage, which is my only complaint about this version. They spend a lot of time hyping up the crowd and interacting with the crowd during these types of songs. Ku is right that they do sing it at the concert live. Dreamcatcher always sings live.
The small mic on their face is for choreo songs. When they're not dancing they swap to hand held mics for the better audio quality and focus on vocals more.

"Let's get" - short form colloquialism of "Let's get going" and then "Move Out" - should be self explanatory.
The head mics are for when they do choreo. Since they go from song to song without breaks often, they have the mics for both.
Concert versions when labeled as such are specially remade versions of the songs for the performances.

Their lyricist isn't fluent in English. There are similar strange English lines in some of their other songs.(in Piri there's a line 'I know what you want to me'.)
The song is old, from the Raid of Dream album. They recorded the live vocals and replaced the instrument tracks with an edgier version.
The small cheek microphones are used for talking to the audience between songs. The hand mics are high quality.
Jiu is notorious for head banging which she does a lot in concerts.
