This dance was epic and it deserved more attention than these judges gave it. Complicated lifts and unusual positions. I loved it. Cole was one of my favorite dancers from this season, and I don't know why he's never been back on the show since this season. I miss the show in it's full, developed format where we had a real chance to see what the dancers could do and we could actually choose our favorite dancer, rather than the judges doing it for us.
Allison made this number. I mean, I know Cole can play the role of crazy cold villain. But Allison's look of pure terror, that crawl back when she's both afraid and reluctantly drawn to him... my heart ached for her, I wanted to reach through the screen and pull her away from him that's how much I felt it. Normally contemporary is pretty hit or miss for me -most often miss- because it tries too hard to MEAN something, but this number was truly special.
I can't even begin my comment. Sonya is my favorite choreographer along with Mia Michaels, but this.... This totally exceeded my expectations. It's not from this planet, I can't even... Sonya carries such a horrible pain in her routines! And then Allison... she was always one of my favorites and she was cut waaaaay too soon on season 2. I agree with Jesse, Allison is the best actress, she can really transmit to the audience the pain that Sonya wanted. And Cole... OMG that boy is out of here.
Allison Holker Out Did Herself In This Routine!!!!! Just like the judges said She had me from that starting pose. She was absolutely fantastic & Cole Horibe was perfect for this choreography
I'm so happy this was nominated for an emmy. it was one of the best of last season. go cole and allison is one of the best dancers, her ability to emote with her face and body is also amazing. cole should have at least been top 2
This masterpiece immediately stopped time for me when I first saw it on SYTYCD 2012..."What am I seeing? How is this possible?" ---in the best sense of these expressions. Similar to written below; I will never tire of watching this! Sonya Tayeh is an alchemist, and Allison and Cole delivered in stunning arrays. It's as though this wildly beautiful song of Björk was created to eventually show itself even more fully in this moment! Bravo to All involved. Magnetizing.
I'm glad I didn't skip this ad because I LOVE IT. THANK YOU!!! It confounds me that even women say this all the time and don't realize they're participating in their own degradation. We hear it so much that we think it doesn't make a difference. Changing the way we use those three little words can make a huge difference.
Allison was amazing as always, I just wish the judges would've focused more on Cole, because he was the competitor. Maybe that would've helped him actually get to the finale.
It baffles me how the judges were pushing for Cyrus to make the finale over Cole & then when Cyrus did make it, Nigel gave up on Cyrus last minute. That was just cruel.
I am still upset with SYTYCD, how did Cole not win, it's insane????lll Could it be racist?, I just can't think of anything else. Cole is the best I've ever seen and Nygil you know it!
So On their TH-cam series the story of this dance is a lot darker . Cole was playing the abusive husband and Allyson the victim . She said it shook her to play that helpless character.I guess it was too rated r for the show 👀

They should have been throwing awards at Sonya for this one. Absolutely brilliant, from concept to execution.
