    This year My friend was 34 when he had a heart attack and passed away. It devastated me and was a true wake up a call for me so when I turned 35 3 weeks ago I vowed to get healthy and take great care of myself I went to the doctor and found out I have high blood pressure coming from my high tempered anger I knew it was the reason so now I have to eat right and learn be at peace.

    Hi Margaret , thankyou so much for your story, I actually have not been told I had a heart attack, the many times I was admitted to hospital but my story is of all the symptons you mentioned. I am now 73 but first presented into hospital 10 years ago. my ECG showed heart disease and In 2009 I had a stent put into 99 blocked artery, the angina attacks continued and finally in 2016 I had a tripel
    by pass but still get angina and thinking back prior to all this had mainly heart pain many years before, My family history is of many close family members dying from heart disease. My advice to you is to head these warnings, my intuition
    told me things were wrong, thankyou all for your stories... we need to pass this on to our families.

I was just a bit dehydrated. I eat a good enough balance diet and I walk and exercise regularly. I don't drink or smoke and I don't experience alot of stress. By the way. I'm 34 years old.

    In 2009 my grandmother was close to having a heart attack, she had blockage in a major artery in the heart, she was on the airplane to Atlanta, GA when she had chest pain and went to the hospital. I'm happy she went to the hospital, in 1996 she had an mild heart attack due to high cholesterol. She had a stroke 2 years ago due to high blood pressure and now her left arm is not working properly.

    Anyone here who’s had a heart problem or heart attack because of Covid?

    • @irishrose7053
      @irishrose7053 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. I'm 52 but I got Covid in January. Feb diag with AFib in ER heart rate 177. It's been hell of a year. Exhausted drained no energy. I was treated with meds Eliquis Metropropol and Amidarone. After the Amioderone didn't put me back into normal sinus Rhythm. I was given nuclear stress test. That was normal. Referral to Electrophysiologist for consult next steps. Decided on Catheter ablation. September 8 went in for procedure and during it. They not only took out bad signals but good ones too. My heart stopped. Cardiac arrest CPR intubated etc. Came to with an emergency pacemaker in my groin and still intubated. I was given paralytic so couldn't move or talk. That was my most terrifying experience ever. I could hear everything. The radio talking about the Queen. I was trying to talk but couldn't speak. It took a few to be able to open my eyes. I felt helpless. It was awful. The next hour being intubated and awake was hell. I wanted that tube out. I had questions to what happened. Once they got my tube out I felt less anxious. I was given a permanent pacemaker next day. They said something about heart block. Lost signal from SA and AV nodes. Rarely happens not sure why. I have an echo next month Holter monitor sometime soon. My pacemaker healing nicely. I was in hospital from September 8 to 12 th. Spent two days in ICU and 2 days in CCU.
      I'm blessed to still be here.
      Side note. I did get two vaxs no boosters cuz they were due around time I got Covid. My docs no longer recommend the boosters as per my condition. They have seen an uptick due to Covid and such.
      Talk to your doctor's advocate for yourselves. Get screened earlier esp with family hx of heart disease. They should check folks way sooner than current protocol. Heart disease is not for just elderly. It's an all she disease. We have environmental factors. Our convenience diets lots of stress at home work. We imjest lots of coffee and energy drinks to keep going full throttle. I know some folks are fit and have this. It's a silent killer for a reason. Be well and stay safe. Bless.
