Harmonizing for the Bee Gees was like breathing for most people, they just did it naturally. I mean, just look at Robin, sitting there with his hands in his pockets singing like an angel. They made it look effortless.
I agree. I like to hear their ballads/folky songs sung acoustically so we can hear them so well but I like the studio recordings best of their uptempo songs.
What a talented group. With only guitars they still sound wonderful. I simply LOVE the BeeGees. Their harmonies are the best. Thank you Chad. Never heard this song before now.
This song was written for children of a country that was in war .The country believed when you died ,you went to a blue island. THIS was to help ease the children's fear through this reassuring song. They thought of the children first, which everyone should do when war happens!
One of my favorites! So beautiful and simple with guitars and voices. This was done to help the children of war from Bosnia. Wonderful humble and caring men.
No doubt, they were very generous & charitable with their talent. Also, what comes thru clearly from their interviews is a humility and sensitivity that is so lacking now days.
I totally agree, no other group can compare to these guys. Everyday is a bee gee day with me. I love your reactions to the vids. So glad you found these wonderful, amazing, beautiful, talented guys.
What’s especially wonderful is the interview before this performance is one of the most chaotic and entertaining ones I’ve ever seen of them. The contrast between that fun energy and this beautiful song and how they do both so effortlessly is just one of the many reasons they were a one of a kind talent.
Chad, wonderful reaction as usual. Whenever our guys performed with just two guitars and their three perfect voices it was pure magic, something that, in my opinion, will never ever be duplicated in our lifetimes or beyond. Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving us great Bee Gees reactions and I'm looking forward to your fourth reaction of the weekend and all the catchup reactions in the future!
I agree that their acoustic performances are beautiful, always on point and calming and restful. I want you to know that the same could be said of you and I look forward to your Bee Gees weekends.
Chad, I think when you first reacted to your first Beegees song Too Much Heaven...you probably thought you were just going to listen to a song fr the past.... little did you know that you would be blown away and speechless about these 3 brothers and their harmonies and falsettos...and become a fan. You liked Andy as well. But on the end all of us die-hard Beegees fans got you to see how great they were. Thanks so much for all your wonderful reactions to the Beegees and welcome to the fan club 😊
Chad, I grew up listening to my father and his Bluegrass band singing in perfect harmony. True talent is always exhibited in acoustic forums. I would venture to say that many artists today, regardless of musical style, started out that way but have become increasingly dependent on artificial help to enhance their voices. Many won't do an acoustic set. However, to me true talent is literally singing wherever you are...planned or not, instruments or not and with others or not. Chad, I look forward to your reactions. I am very fond of the Bee Gees and am pleased they are getting the attention and respect they rightly deserve.
Beautiful, emotional song ❣ Thanks for showing us their full amazing catalogue of music! Talented is an understament! These brothers are untouched on a musical level! Just love the flowing talent and good vibes they gave us eternally which will last on forever in music history 💫💖
Agree with you Chad, if you like their offhand/no frill performances you should watch 1993 "interview in the garden" with the brothers singin' to love somebody in Robin's beautiful garden.
They also donated their song, "Too Much Heaven" to UNICEF. So far it has raised over 7 mil. dollars. I think the reason we enjoy this guys so much is because we know instinctively that we are witnessing a God given gift. What other explanation is there for such ease and perfection? And to see them giving it away to others is a lesson for us all.
It's amazing how well Barry and Robin's voices meshed together considering they were often in conflict with each other (as Barry has often said). Sometimes when they are singing together you can't even distinguish between their voices. And Mo always adds that extra zing when he chimes in with them. ❤💔 Despite their catalogue still longing for more.
Thank you for your real reaction to Bee Gees music. I agree they really just wanted to share their music with the world. Their is nothing like chilling with them. They are the best. Please do more.
🥀The Brothers Bee Gees are Awesome I miss Andy Maurice and Robin so much. I'm going through some difficult times I lost my Brother from covid put it this way my Mama & Dad raised my mom's youngest brother he was in the family before I was born I grew up with him over the years calling him Bobo now he's gone and it's breaking my heart but I get on music to listen and vent I'm born into music by my Dad so music is my escape from reality. God Bless you Thank you for sharing your life n love in the music industry with us the fans. I love the Brothers Bee Gees since the 60's on up my family members always played their song's at home. 🥀☝️🥀🕊🥀
Beautiful reaction (as usual 😊). Yes, this song was for the children of Bosnia but NOT just the proceeds, the song itself was dedicated to them. The guys had read that some believe heaven to be a "blue island" and that's how this song came about. In fact, they were actively trying to see if there could be a troose long enough for the children to somehow be airlifted out and away from the flighting. Unfortunately, that didn't happen but they did raise money to help them with the essentials. (Barry also had a yearly tennis tournament to benefit The Diabetes Association.) It's sweet that you mentioned Mo, Rob and Andy might be on "their island" - I heard them say that very thing about Andy when he died... Love ya, Chad!! ❤
Diana, speaking of where the brothers may be, did you see this video from last month of Barry giving thanks for being awarded Best-Selling Americana Album by a UK Artist, for “Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers’ Songbook Vol. 1” at the 2022 UK Americana Awards? Notice those white orbs, playfully flying around throughout this brief video -- Maurice and Robin, NO DOUBT. Especially notice at 18 seconds in, when Barry says, "I'd like to thank all the artists who made this album" -- that would be cheeky Robin showing up just to Barry's right (his usual position) and slowing down to make sure he’s seen. I mean, c'mon, was there ANY song on Greenfields that Robin and Maurice didn't help create?! These were THEIR songs, too, and I believe they were able to show up to join in the celebration
I'm glad to hear you're not totally nixing Bee Gees requests forever. I JUST discovered this channel today, and you do the best, most insightful reactions on so many Bee Gees tunes!
God blessed us with the music from the Bee Gees. They a so wholesome, humble and with loving hearts. That you for sharing this video, enjoyed your review.
Actually they had a pretty raunchy sense of humor at times;especially Robin. They were far from choir boys. If you read about their personal lives, that becomes very evident! They were incredibly talented, humble and funny despite everything else!
Saw and heard your reaction to that one last week, but wasn't able to comment it by first step. Why? I always loved that song so much, maybe much more than I can say. It's kinda beautiful calming to me. Also I can see clearly, how much you've got meanwhile the ability, to reach their whole wide range. So go on, checkin' out your list and thanxalot.
@@cindyknudson2715 it's called Bee Gees 1993 MTV Most Wanted with Ray Cokes. The audio quality is not good but it has the whole interview plus their acoustic performance.
Just a side thought. How do they remember the words to a thousand or more songs?I wrote a shopping list, yesterday, can’t remember what the heck is on it.🙄😊🇬🇧
Great soothing song by the lads. You said it, totally professional and confident. The rabbit hole is deep, isn't it. But there are a lot of other great artists to explore too. You seem quiet tonight, is your daughter asleep?
Another incredible track that was never released as a single. Some of their single choices were questionable - see "Paying The Price of Love". The whole parent album was strong but when the public heard the painfully high falsetto on the lead single, I think they were turned off and the amazing follow-up single "For Whom The Bell Tolls" was pretty much ignored in the US.
If i get it right Chad you already have a BGs requests list enough long to go on reacting for months? Years??😋 my saturation point is still out of sight, hope the same to you!☺
Hello Daniel...thanks for your feedback on the channel. My reactions are based on whatever my viewers request, in this case "Blue Island". But thank you, I didn't realize there were more songs on this tv show. May have to check it out soon. Thanks for tuning in!
Qué lástima que Robin no tocara la armónica para la parte melódica final del estribillo (que está en la versión de estudio y acá queda sólo el acompañamiento en guitarra)
Hi Chad, could u react about an unreleased G’s song.... ! Song called: Your love will save the world...!!! Very rare vid...!! To me BEST Robin lead’s EVER...! It’s BREATHTAKING...!! 💖💖💖💖
Hello, Caroline! Thanks so much for your recommendation. Great news, I've covered this special song already! Here's the link to my reaction.
Harmonizing for the Bee Gees was like breathing for most people, they just did it naturally. I mean, just look at Robin, sitting there with his hands in his pockets singing like an angel. They made it look effortless.
Better than the Beatles....BEEGEES to much talent 👏
MJ So true. Beautiful, great song, great sound. I ❤ the BEE GEES
Yes! The Bee Gees are the best!!!
They aren’t better,or worse, just different. They were good friends with the Beatles, and would not like you to compare them, like that.
Beautiful song and just love the harmonies x
Absolutely
My favorite way of listening to The Bee Gees. Simple guitars, no other fanfare. Just their incredible harmonies & a beautiful song.
I agree. I like to hear their ballads/folky songs sung acoustically so we can hear them so well but I like the studio recordings best of their uptempo songs.
I love this song the best of their voices.with.a.simple. guiture
Great reaction ...such a relaxing song and such lovely giving men . X
Brilliant....Bee Gees , the best group ever.❤️❤️❤️
Three Cool brothers specially Robin looking very good.
1 Amazing Song 2 guitars. 3 Brothers. Thats the Bee Gees. The best Group ever ❤❤❤
What a talented group. With only guitars they still sound wonderful. I simply LOVE the BeeGees. Their harmonies are the best. Thank you Chad. Never heard this song before now.
This one was a tribute to the children of the Bosnian war. I believe blue island is referring to Heaven

With me too! ❤
I think Maurice made this extra beautiful. I only heard him when he joined in. Gorgeous
I think Barry, and Mo are the wings, and Robin is the body,of a harmonic Angel.

❤❤❤Thank you Bee Gees❤❤❤!
As usual as long it comes from the legendary Bee Gees music is soothing and the tunes and tones incomparable.
They are doing what they loved doing.
This just shows they don't need fancy backdrops or showy costumes in their performances. They were more like t-shirt and Jean's for their attire.💖💖💖
Also, Barry was suffering from severe arthritis in his right hand and major back problems as well at this time.
Pure musical magic from the brilliant BeeGees❤️💕❤️💕

Humble.
Beyond beautiful. One day these immensely talented brothers will be together again on their blue island and their songs willl echo forever.❤
Blue island 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Rest in peace sweet Robin and Maurice. You are missed.
Beautiful. I watched this one right after Ring around the Moon. So mellow. Great reaction...❤

@@nenushka thank you 🙂
This song is wonderfull i dont know if you know that they have given all the royalties from this song to the children of the war, in bosnia
Artie, Artie. I mentioned this in the commentary of the video, lol.
You should watch that whole show that that song was played on. It was hysterical. They did this question game, the wall of death, it was so funny 😆🤣
Yes! Their collective sense of humor is so much fun to watch.
Pure magic
Ellos son amor y armonia💖💖💖💖
Mein absolutes Lieblingslied🥰danke Chad😘
Genios
