So as far as i think, Ranveer here is diagnosed with BPD( Borderline personality disorder) and this movies is trying to portray the complications of relationship for both the partners when one of them is always on the edge and its beautiful.
I am told the director Imtiaz Ali let the 2 actors improvise for this songs visuals. There acting brings in an even more pathos & poignant vibe. Another example of visual treat to a brilliant song ~ TU HI REY singer Hariharan, film Bombay, music A R Rahaman Try it it will be worth it ENJOOOOOY
