Amazing Kiranjit. She’s a beautiful amalgamation of Indian punjabi with a British English accent with a smattering of South Indian Hindi. Very chulbuli and knowledgable. Perfect food tour guide. 😀👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Woah... the weather n the bus trip.. The fried rice n the hot coffee.. The fruit market n the 'watery rose apple'... reminds me of Matunga episode... The architecture, the local markets, the restaura's n their love for food, so well explained... The Gurudwara, the Prasad n the 'sauf wali chai'.. :) The jack fruit look alike... The well informed host her carefree laughter... Ya, the poncho... n the rain !!
Wow all amazing Bhai, nice to hear about the Mamak food. I just love how all the Asian countries and influence each other. Best Asian food I had was last Sunday at a Nepali Mela in London, the food was authentic and like being back in Nepal. Shame not many gora brits were there or from other backgrounds either.

Longan is extremely common in Bengal and northeast India. We call it anshphal in Bengali. The roti canai type roti too we have, and it's called petai porota. Petai meaning beaten.

As indian living in Kuala Lumpur i may say its a far gap in terms of clean hygienics food preparation friendly customer service being shown in mostly Malaysia than the nerve vomiting unhygienic of food preparation of mostly indian city and town 😨🥶
Indian Muslims were not business-minded. The Indians brought by the British through slavery methods brought different types by education level; the worst treated were Tamilian Hindus, who were least educated, chucked into British-owned rubber plantations... Punjabis were brought to do certain things, Sri Lankans etc So due to New Economic policy - those minorities were further crushed in economic tyranny
