@@ConCon it destroys fodder enemies elites and bosses on some maps because there is the potential to hit the same enemy multiple times with 1 laser. I use to use Cyclops for farming because its really brain dead to use that ability without care because you know it will kill multiple things. I noticed that it was nerfed in the latest DLC because most of the boss rooms don't have walls, thats the only reason Star-Lord is over Cyclops for me lol, Star-Lord can clear rooms on any map where as Cyclops becomes useless on certain maps unless you have a beam synergy teammate.
@Bacons Strip prefer Vibranium Slash, I feel like I can use it twice by the time Wolverine touches the ground after using his uppercut, could be wrong though. Plus I like Panthers ability to ignore damage in certain moments, I know Wolverine has hp regen but that doesn't matter when all my characters literally heal themselves just by attacking. Wolverine just feels very lackluster for me personally. I had fun with Wolverine when I had him built with fire iso8s but I ended up giving them to Phoenix. He is not bad by any means obviously, just prefer BP.
I agree with all the BP>Logan sentiments. Wolverine is also more complicated to setup. Buff, then drill claws, then uppercuts. His Drill claw can miss too. BP is just smashing the Vibranium slash button. Vibranium slash is auto-aim, mid range auto gap closer, and starts breaking things.
Cyclops deals a lot more damage with his bouncing beams compared to Starlord's Amped Up, but is quite situational. In enclosed spaces a beam can hit a boss up to 4 times, and you usually have 3 beams out dancing around at the same time.
My problem with infinity Thanos is what’s the use of regular Thanos. Instead of giving him his own slot he infinite should replaced regular and secret character should have been Nova
I honestly feel like Captain Marvel is one of the best Heroes, her damage output is ridiculous. Photon punch is crazy strong as well as her Cosmic Burst. Not to mention her binary mode after an Ultimate.
I haven't played her much, I've always heard that but when I play her I don't feel it ahaha maybe I just need the right iso-8s to pull her strength out
she's on my main team right now, but I don't have all the heroes yet. I started levelling her for beam synergy attack, but kept her on my team as thought she was awesome. team is hulk, ms marvel, iron man and captain marvel.
ConCon I’ve done all the gauntlets, all my quests with him. With the bugged iso and a health replenishing iso, his EP don’t run out. Try out +damage on stunned ennemies iso or + damage of abilities, if the ricochet hit twice or 3 times, hp bars melt like ice under the sun. Doom is better to delete stager bar though, but damage wise Cyclops is incredible. Feel free to tell me your thoughts. Thanks for the videos, I always watch them 😋
Before I found your channel last year, I used Storm to ice the ground and Hulk to clap and destroy anyone in that iced area. After I saw your use of Star Lord, my go to group is Storm, Hulk, Star Lord and Wasp. I put stagger damage iso8s on Wasp and with 3 people who can cast tornado, we eliminate stagger bars and bosses.
Not many people would know it but Gamora is S Tier and she's definitely in the top 3 to me. Her assassin's strike is just devastating. It does so much stagger damage. Her and Black Panthers Vibranium claw carried me through all those gauntlets. Truthfully if you want to take your gameplay to the next level and just dominate then you have to use the people that will destroy the stagger bar, like Colossus, Elektra, Gamora, Black Panther, Thanos (Inf). That's what it's all about once you get to facing the hardest gauntlets
This is amazing list. You got me to use ms marvel and star lord! Shoot my team that I used to complete the game and gauntlet was hulk, Thanos non infinite, Loki and black panther.
My top 10’s: Phoenix Star Lord Dr Doom Thanos with the Gauntlet Kamala Kahn/Mr. Fantastic Wasp Wolverine Thor Black Panther Hulk Other really good characters are Ghost Rider, Captain Marvel , Psylocke, Magneto, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and Cyclops. While Gauntlet Thanos is really good by himself because of his light/heavy attacks and R1 X/Y attacks, his other attacks aren’t as good, and his lack of synergy does knock him a peg. I feel Jean and Star Lord are just better characters overall because they can give you the same results but add the benefits of better special abilities, and synergy damage.
My top 10: 1. Thanos(Infinite). His red spike move can bind enemies and does a lot of damage. At full charge his gravity well is of useful utility for area control. And his heavy attack is overpowered. 2. Phoenix. She does massive damage to enemies that aren't elemental resistant. Her Extreme attack can revive allies. And she has ep regeneration. 3. Magneto. His area control is overpowered. It's the best in the game, period. His heavy attack is very strong. He does great damage to all enemies. His Extreme attack is very strong. He would be as good as Phoenix but he uses too much ep. 4. Invisible Woman. Her support bubble makes you near invulnerable to projectiles. She does very high damage *and* stagger. Her rapid bubble attack can imprison (bind?) even bosses. She lacks area of effect though and sometimes needs help to start attacking larger groups of strong enemies. 5. Black Panther. Does high damage to health and massive damage to stagger gauge. Is too fast and agile to be doing that much damage. Is very lacking in area of effect though. 6. Captain Marvel. Good damage and the buff she gets from her extreme attack (radiant form) makes her an all around strong character. Without radiant form she would be average. 7. Storm. Very strong area of effect moves and if it wasn't for elemental resistance, her ice storm move would be a mini extreme move. It can also freeze enemies. It's very powerful. 8. Dr.Doom. He can do everything and does great damage to all enemies. His doom bot is of good utility. There are many characters that can do one thing better but he hasn't a real drawback. 9. Thanos. He just does so much damage. Particularly his Extreme attack. He can teleport too so he's the fastest tank, and possibly hardest hitting tank there is(second to infinite Thanos). He needs ISOs to make his already high damage worthwhile though. Damage and durability are all he has. 10. Ms. Marvel. Her "spin to win" (spinning kick) move is so good for farming. Her and a supportive teammate can clear waves so fast the game slows down or we start to outpace spawning enemies. Even at high levels. She needs help for bosses and is an average character otherwise.
I think ms marvel is the best character early on. she is fun to play, all of her moves are useful, and her auto punch thing just purely melts everything, both purple bar and red bar. I know there is better from the DLC later on, and some characters are better when levelled right up and with the right team and such, but right out of the gate, ms marvel is a beast.

Definitely going to pick this game up again and play. (I quit right before the Fantastic 4 update because I got bored with the game) My favorite team of heros was Psylocke, Wolverine, Magneto, and Phoenix. They all had great team boost and just amazing synergy. I would primarily use Wolverine and Psylocke to just put out damage the occasionally swap to Phoenix to put down her Ep restore aura. I destroyed everything with that team and the last I remember they were all about level 110
Dr. Doom is my favorite next too Gambit both being my favorite overall characters and both being absolute powerhouses in the game. Can never stop myself from saying "Doom Reigns!" Whenever I set up his self synergize.
Captain Marvel deserves a spot too. She's really strong. Synergys, Binary form(boost), she has good damage and she's a really really great stagger damage dealer
My team is Deadpool, wolverine, blade, and ghost rider. They hit pretty hard and its cool that ghost rider can make our swords and even wolverines claws wrapped in HELLFIRE! But i think im gonna pick up colossus and cable. Theyre pretty sick.
My favorite's to play are, Infinite thanos: Enough said Spiderman: Mostly airborne attacks and can bind a large group of enemy's Nightcrawler: Really fast and can quickly get rid of the bind enemy's Cyclops: His laser's are just op, especially if you have the right iso8s I know there are way better characters their just the ones I like playing the most, thanks for reading
Favorite character to use is Cable, one of the few characters where I feel like I can have fun using all his moves and light/heavy attacks and not just 1 or 2 abilities.
Always love watching your videos and your excitement. In my list I have iceman (crispin really made him the best) and Psylock but it’s individual. Also I replaced wasp for invisible women when using the mister fantastic combo because I also get the bubble and the walls are just overpowered when used correctly. Lately I’ve been playing a lot with black widow (once again shoutout to crispin) and I’m obsessed I think she is great and the self synergy’s are making me happy. I wonder if I can use all of your starlord builds on her I think it will work the same right? In conclusion people don’t sleep on miles, iceman and widow.
Crazy he only mentioned 1 of my top 4 team members. I rock Cap, Iron Man, Gambit, and Wolverine. I wreck shop w/ that team. Im a novice, but I've had 0 issues with those 4.
We all use different teams hahaha. Cap has an epic damage buff for his team though and you're rocking the xmen team bonus so you've got a massive team right there!
Also, Phoenix's damage is NOT low. She has one of the highest MAS stats in the game, which is what her damage is based on. What is low is her defensive stats. She's one of the 5 squishiest characters in the game, as she should be for being such an offensive juggernaut.
Nice list. My top Character is still Phoenix. As Concon mentioned her damage isnt high, but her Cleansing fire is OVERPOWERED and UNCONTESTED. Ever since the release of Rise of the Phoenix, the meta has been Phoenix. How do you make spin2win or any top tier synergy broken? Phoenix. How do you make powerful skills like Amped Up, Vibranium Slash broken? Phoenix. The only thing she cant really be useful for is iThanos, but the guy is petty strong on his own, but doesnt really do anything for the whole team. Think of it this way... We're comparing any 4 top tier toon team vs Phoenix and 3 broken characters.
Well, I don't know about top tier, but right now my favorite to play with is Cable. I feel he's like bottow to mid tier, but he's so much fun! I love playing with Starlord as well. Most ranged characters are really fun to me.

Lot of people don’t know that you can get ai characters to keep firing their laser/rapid fire ability if you hold ZR down. You can then trigger another synergy with a beam/rapid fire user on the team by using R ability while still holding down ZR. With Cable, you can actually force AI controlled teammates to do a beam synergy while still controlling Cable. And since Cable can attack while his gun is summoned, your damage output is basically double what most characters can do on their own. TLDR: Cable is one of the best team characters in the game with ridiculous synergy damage output
@@ConCon Thats cool. But they are amazing anyway. Captain Marvel has really good Energy and Melee Attacks. She has really good Stats to back them up too. Iceman is slimier in that he has good Energy and Melee Attacks and he has just as much Durability and Resilience as Captain Marvel, plus he can Freeze Enemies. Cyclops has the best Beam Attack in the Game and the Beam Synergy with Captain Marvel or another Beam Attacker is just amazing. It just melts Bosses HP. My main Team right now is Captain Marvel, Cyclops, Iceman and Phoenix. Storm is also really good, but her Stats really hold her back. Still, just with her Whirlwind Ability, that makes her one of the best for cleaning up entire Rooms of trash baddies, lol.

I just got to Wakanda. Do we get Bucky and Black Panther, or is Winter Soldier not in the game as a playable? I guess a lot of characters like him will seem very samey because of the games mechanics. He was great in Marvel Heroes though, he was one of the top characters with both ranged and mele builds (this was a lot closer to an ARPG though, and in fact was created by the same guy who made diablo)
She's the best defensive buffer in the game. Her shield gives her entire team 75% damage reduction which is quite ridiculous. Unsure whether it's intentional or not, since text says it's supposed to just reduce projectile damage, not ALL damage. Also she's easy to gear, has good defensive stats, and has a rapid-fire skill for synergizing with DD, SL, Reed, or Kamala

I’m just not using Quill. If he stops talking maybe but other than that I’m good. I’m don’t care if he’s more op than iThanos, not going down. Phoenix is definitely top tier, I personally like Widow and Carol. I feel like top 5 is iThanos, Phoenix, Doom, Thor, and Carol but I don’t play starlord so he wouldn’t make my top 50 of 52.

My go to team has bean Wolverine Ghost Rider Hulk Gambit I’m just now getting into the grind. I’m only level 80 I think. I have a long way to go, but that Thanos challenge to unlock him is infuriating. I get destroyed so fast, and I don’t have a bad build either. I can get to Thanos but the big guy is still jumping around and I get combo’ed to death every time

Yeah what Concon said. I understand Cap and Sue but not Iceman, which is a shame considering Iceman was 1 of the most broken characters in the previous MUA and X-Men Legends game.
They all have teamwide buffs. The math is almost always the case where team buffers bring more to a team than those who do not. Thanos2 and Doom have such great stats and skills that they're exceptions to that. Reason Phoenix, DD, and Cap are above Sue and Bobby is cuz offensive natured buffs/debuffs hold more value, imo, than defensive ones do.

How I have things setup I have no need for defense because my hyper offense ends fights quickly and my characters heal themselves overtime or just by doing damage. I like Cap and Sue nullifying ranged damage is good(not a threat just annoying especially from the bugs that debuff you), going to play DareDevil more might give him a fire buff iso8(I know shock is better, fire just fits the theme better) but Iceman... Ive tried I really have i just find him soooo lacking I can fight a character that does everything he does better aside from the defense buff but its useless to me. I wish they brought back some of his old abilities like Cold Snap/Flash Freeze where he does a quick AOE replace his defense ability with a Freezing Aura that slows and damages enemies near him
@@PlaysManyGames right, that's why I said damage is more important than defensive buffs. It's why the three team damage boosters are ranked higher. A buff that helps an entire team, even if it's defensive, still helps a team more than someone who doesn't positively affect 4 characters and is why Sue and Bobby are above other characters who do more damage than them, for instance.
Should try DD. He has a channeling area assault (same synergy as reed and kamala) but has better stats than them and also has the 2nd highest group damage buff (only behind phoenix) too. Overall he's far better than both reed and kamala
2021 and still adore this game. I wish there was a season 2 set of dlcs though.

and magneto is very slow. He is terrible as a solo character as well. He is a good crowd controller.

Definitely going to pick this game up again and play. (I quit right before the Fantastic 4 update because I got bored with the game) My favorite team of heros was Psylocke, Wolverine, Magneto, and Phoenix. They all had great team boost and just amazing synergy. I would primarily use Wolverine and Psylocke to just put out damage the occasionally swap to Phoenix to put down her Ep restore aura. I destroyed everything with that team and the last I remember they were all about level 110

Dr. Doom is my favorite next too Gambit both being my favorite overall characters and both being absolute powerhouses in the game. Can never stop myself from saying "Doom Reigns!" Whenever I set up his self synergize.

Captain Marvel deserves a spot too. She's really strong. Synergys, Binary form(boost), she has good damage and she's a really really great stagger damage dealer
Indeed she's good but I never really got to know her that well. I couldn't build a team I liked with her in it
started a new playthrough where I ONLY feed xp cubes to Star-Lord, very fun!

My team is Deadpool, wolverine, blade, and ghost rider. They hit pretty hard and its cool that ghost rider can make our swords and even wolverines claws wrapped in HELLFIRE! But i think im gonna pick up colossus and cable. Theyre pretty sick.

Infinite thanos: Enough said
Spiderman: Mostly airborne attacks and can bind a large group of enemy's
Nightcrawler: Really fast and can quickly get rid of the bind enemy's
Cyclops: His laser's are just op, especially if you have the right iso8s

I love Spidey and if that team works for you then I say go for it. Spiderman is very fun to play.
Favorite character to use is Cable, one of the few characters where I feel like I can have fun using all his moves and light/heavy attacks and not just 1 or 2 abilities.

Always love watching your videos and your excitement. In my list I have iceman (crispin really made him the best) and Psylock but it’s individual.
Also I replaced wasp for invisible women when using the mister fantastic combo because I also get the bubble and the walls are just overpowered when used correctly. Lately I’ve been playing a lot with black widow (once again shoutout to crispin) and I’m obsessed I think she is great and the self synergy’s are making me happy. I wonder if I can use all of your starlord builds on her I think it will work the same right? In conclusion people don’t sleep on miles, iceman and widow.
Miles is pretty high up in my books too, Iceman I'm not too sure of and I can never play widow in a decent way, always feels lacking.
Crazy he only mentioned 1 of my top 4 team members. I rock Cap, Iron Man, Gambit, and Wolverine. I wreck shop w/ that team. Im a novice, but I've had 0 issues with those 4.
We all use different teams hahaha. Cap has an epic damage buff for his team though and you're rocking the xmen team bonus so you've got a massive team right there!
Also, Phoenix's damage is NOT low. She has one of the highest MAS stats in the game, which is what her damage is based on. What is low is her defensive stats. She's one of the 5 squishiest characters in the game, as she should be for being such an offensive juggernaut.
hahaha I know it's not "low" but it's too low for being in the top 10 because of her damage. Her damage doesn't keep her in top 10 is what I mean.

Cable is actually broken AF if you have the right team composition and a deeper understanding of the game’s mechanics.
Lot of people don’t know that you can get ai characters to keep firing their laser/rapid fire ability if you hold ZR down. You can then trigger another synergy with a beam/rapid fire user on the team by using R ability while still holding down ZR. With Cable, you can actually force AI controlled teammates to do a beam synergy while still controlling Cable. And since Cable can attack while his gun is summoned, your damage output is basically double what most characters can do on their own.
TLDR: Cable is one of the best team characters in the game with ridiculous synergy damage output

@@ConCon Thats cool. But they are amazing anyway. Captain Marvel has really good Energy and Melee Attacks. She has really good Stats to back them up too. Iceman is slimier in that he has good Energy and Melee Attacks and he has just as much Durability and Resilience as Captain Marvel, plus he can Freeze Enemies. Cyclops has the best Beam Attack in the Game and the Beam Synergy with Captain Marvel or another Beam Attacker is just amazing. It just melts Bosses HP. My main Team right now is Captain Marvel, Cyclops, Iceman and Phoenix. Storm is also really good, but her Stats really hold her back. Still, just with her Whirlwind Ability, that makes her one of the best for cleaning up entire Rooms of trash baddies, lol.

I just got to Wakanda. Do we get Bucky and Black Panther, or is Winter Soldier not in the game as a playable? I guess a lot of characters like him will seem very samey because of the games mechanics. He was great in Marvel Heroes though, he was one of the top characters with both ranged and mele builds (this was a lot closer to an ARPG though, and in fact was created by the same guy who made diablo)

What do you think about Invisible Woman? Her force field, is it really effective?

She's the best defensive buffer in the game. Her shield gives her entire team 75% damage reduction which is quite ridiculous. Unsure whether it's intentional or not, since text says it's supposed to just reduce projectile damage, not ALL damage. Also she's easy to gear, has good defensive stats, and has a rapid-fire skill for synergizing with DD, SL, Reed, or Kamala

I’m just not using Quill. If he stops talking maybe but other than that I’m good. I’m don’t care if he’s more op than iThanos, not going down. Phoenix is definitely top tier, I personally like Widow and Carol. I feel like top 5 is iThanos, Phoenix, Doom, Thor, and Carol but I don’t play starlord so he wouldn’t make my top 50 of 52.

I’m just now getting into the grind. I’m only level 80 I think. I have a long way to go, but that Thanos challenge to unlock him is infuriating. I get destroyed so fast, and I don’t have a bad build either. I can get to Thanos but the big guy is still jumping around and I get combo’ed to death every time

Im surprised Hulk isn’t anywhere! I used Hulk’s charge to melt bosses if they are against a wall because you keep hitting them but don’t charge past
I used hulk on my team for a long time too but Thor was always a better option. Though I kept hulk because he's my favourite actual super hero hahaha

Can you tell me a bit about the play style for Cap, Sue and Iceman, what are you doing with them that makes them so valuable to you?
Yeah what Concon said. I understand Cap and Sue but not Iceman, which is a shame considering Iceman was 1 of the most broken characters in the previous MUA and X-Men Legends game.
They all have teamwide buffs. The math is almost always the case where team buffers bring more to a team than those who do not. Thanos2 and Doom have such great stats and skills that they're exceptions to that.
Reason Phoenix, DD, and Cap are above Sue and Bobby is cuz offensive natured buffs/debuffs hold more value, imo, than defensive ones do.
@@gotaplanstan I see what your saying. How I have things setup I have no need for defense because my hyper offense ends fights quickly and my characters heal themselves overtime or just by doing damage. I like Cap and Sue nullifying ranged damage is good(not a threat just annoying especially from the bugs that debuff you), going to play DareDevil more might give him a fire buff iso8(I know shock is better, fire just fits the theme better) but Iceman... Ive tried I really have i just find him soooo lacking I can fight a character that does everything he does better aside from the defense buff but its useless to me. I wish they brought back some of his old abilities like Cold Snap/Flash Freeze where he does a quick AOE replace his defense ability with a Freezing Aura that slows and damages enemies near him
@@PlaysManyGames right, that's why I said damage is more important than defensive buffs. It's why the three team damage boosters are ranked higher.
A buff that helps an entire team, even if it's defensive, still helps a team more than someone who doesn't positively affect 4 characters and is why Sue and Bobby are above other characters who do more damage than them, for instance.

ConCon if he didn’t do that he would be really high tier for me but that bug just ruins him.
Should try DD. He has a channeling area assault (same synergy as reed and kamala) but has better stats than them and also has the 2nd highest group damage buff (only behind phoenix) too. Overall he's far better than both reed and kamala
