Whenever I watch your animations, I’m always too immersed in the characters and all the tiny little nuances of their motions and actions to remember that this is all ANIMATED. You do a seriously good job

Or perhaps this is Hyrule in the distant future. Ganon is long gone, having died permanently in some old final fight. The Triforce is held by the Monarchy(or Congress for all we know) and Royal Guard(or Secret Service) in a super-fortified vault that has yet to be broken, and as the world advanced, it grew more complacent and calm. The lineages of Zelda and Link fell into obscurity as they became less and less necessary, fading into legend. They served in the government officially, then ceremonially, then not at all. Whether there is a new monarchy or its now a Democratic Republic is unknown. But it's clear that Zelda's not a monarch anymore, and Link isn't a hero anymore either.

Technically this doesn’t need to be an AU, or at least not entirely. Link and Zelda are gonna be reincarnated until the end of time. Cus it’s just how the dynamic works between the three pieces of the triforce. Wisdom and courage have to be around to counteract power. Maybe this is just many reincarnations later, hyrule industrialized, then modernized... and Zelda and link are still an adorable duo drawn to one another as they were the first time they met. Centuries prior.
Technically only link reincarnates. Zelda is just a bloodline descendant.

This is one of my most favorite animations I've ever seen. I love Link and Zeldas relationship of how they are into each other and how they go at it. Zelda tries to hide it while Link just goes for it and takes any opportunity he can to be with Zelda and this shows it perfectly
