I am three months out. Before surgery I was walking 5 miles a day. Back to it but not so comfortable. I still have some swelling and pain in both the groin and back of my hip that is exacerbated with activity. Being athletic I am used to a bit of pain so I am mostly ignoring this albeit harder to do so at night when there is less to distract me. Two am podcasts are becoming a thing.
This is my doctor!! He's doing my hip replacement next week. This will be my third surgery after my ex beat me and busted my hip in 2019. I'm hoping this will change my life so I'm not limping or in constant pain. I'm young for this surgery at 37 years old, but am hoping this is a game changer. Glad to find this video. I'll update how I'm doing after the surgery.
keep you in my prayers i lost my best friend to spousal abuse se went back once to often I'm glad your free this replacement helped me so much god bless and good luck and i hope yur doing well i had mine last week also
I'm at my 14 day period after anterior hip replacement, still walking with cane. I still have a lot of " stiffness" when I walk or stand for longer periods of time. Sitting in a chair other then my recliner is very uncomfortable, is this all normal?
I would say pretty normal. Everyone is different. My neighbor and I had the same surgery and recovery was very different. I was walking unassisted much earlier
