Not really according to shinobu upper moons equal 3 pillars that that is 3 unmarked pillars. Hashira with the Mark are extremely more powerful. It took 3 marked hashira (given 2 were the strongest hashira) to take take down the ridiculously powerful kokushibo. Marked gyomei or marked sanemi could solo akaza. Akazas compass is good at detecting incoming attacks when hes on defense but he kept getting countered when he attacked so the compass isnt all that useful. Sanemi especially is a very aggressive counter attacker

I think Rengoku and Tengen are underrated as hell, more so Tengen He nearly solo’d upper 6, but admitted to botching his one chance. Then he proceeds to battle toe to toe with gyutaro unmarked where every other hashira from that point forward battled uppermoons while marked.

Not all hashira can handle his poison, that is why tengen can last longer in fighting him because he has a poision resistance, he is a ninja in his past life. And in terms of hashira's ranking, tengen is around top 4 or 5. In terms of UM3 and above, no one can defeat them 1 v 1 even if they have the mark. So basically it is over for the hashiras if they won't team up. Only UM 6(gyuutarou), UM3, UM2 and UM1 can easily win 1 v 1 with any hashiras. The rest of UM can be defeated even if they won't teamed up.

I don’t think any hashira could solo a upper moon (top 3) . I think given the regeneration of these top 3 upper ranks you’d need at least 2 hashira level combatants to beat them. We see how important that is against akaza. That fight would’ve been ended so fast if they fought him individually, without the ability to switch out when one is staggered it’s just not possible to win alone
Depends on what you mean from "solo an upper moon (top3)" If you mean to kill one directly, probably not. In another case, Sanemi is able to keep fighting 1vs1 with Akaza at least until sunrise. Gyomei as well. With Douma it's a big doubt, to tank him until then. With Kokushibo 1vs1 until sunrise? Too hard.

This is so wrong in so many levels, starting from Gyuutarou. Not all hashira can handle his poison, that is why tengen can last longer in fighting him because he has a poision resistance, he is a ninja in his past life. And in terms of hashira's ranking, tengen is around top 4 or 5.
In terms of UM3 and above, no one can defeat them 1 v 1 even if they have the mark. So basically it is over for the hashiras if they won't team up.
Only UM 6(gyuutarou), UM3, UM2 and UM1 can easily win 1 v 1 with any hashiras. The rest of UM can be defeated even if they won't teamed up.

We see how important that is against akaza.
