'Jazzy' Jeff is a smooth operator in there. But beating Oscar at this weight this early in his career, was a very very difficult thing to do. I like that right cross to the left hooker-cut that Oscar is throwing in this fight. Good two punch combo to penetrate the "Michigan-Shell". I will have to watch Oscar's fight against Floyd JR to see if he tried employing that combo.

@@buddhaparadox Oscar vs Floyd at 135lbs would have been very interesting!!! I pick Floyd but its about as evenly matched a fight as you will ever see. Floyd's speed and boxing IQ vs Oscar's speed and punching power.
@@maxv6837dudes Floyd couldnt even make it against an older DlH! That fight was controversial at its max and as Oscar was the overall aggressor who landed most of the time the fight was at least a draw.

Not necessarily. Now they fight better opposition but less often back then they'd fight 2 or 3 bums then a good opponent. Plus Jeff had a 1-1-1 record coming into this fight.
oscar would have smoked Mayweather had they fought a few earlier then their original contest.
He should have fought him then instead of avoiding Mayweather.
@@OGFrylockHey Lee I think you're just a huge hater dude , because Oscar and Mosley were past their prime when they both fought him . In the boxing ring the runner and hugger Floyd Mayweather in 2007 and 2010 and in those fights you could see Oscar just lost by two points or he really won and mosley much older but still almost knocked out Mayweather in the second round in 2010 . Also Mayweather didn't really fight anybody in 20s and until he hit his 30s . That's why he was so fresh at that late age of 30 and the 30s is when all fighters start fading and declining in the ring .But not for Floyd though and he played the clock perfectly and there were rumors too that he wanted big fights with Trinidad , Winky Wright , and Hopkins and also little bit with Gennady Golovkin . But he was too scared to go to middleweight for those fights ! 😒🇺🇸🇮🇹🇲🇽

I was pretty much laughing throughout this video fight, between Jeff Mayweather, and Oscar De La Jolla. At the beginning of the fight, Mayweather's coach yells, "Take'm to School!", like three times. Well, the only school I saw Jeff Mayweather, take Oscar De La Jolla was, how to break Oscar's hands on his face. Very embarrassing for both Jeff, and his coach. That's why is better to keep ones mouth SHOT!
