I like how the way Gil and Emiya are shown at the end of the op says everything about their personality. Emiya's posture looking down with a smile shows his sarcastic side but it also has that melancholic feel to it, fitting a man who faced many hardships in life. Also him not looking directly at Hakuno could represent how he usually shows his affection in a more indirect way, unlike Nero or Tamamo. Gil on the other hand has a confident stance, with his head held high, showing how highly he thinks of himself, that he fears nothing. He's looking down on Hakuno but the fact that he's looking directly at her at all shows that he considers her worthy of his attention.
If we get a remake of this game, I hope they keep this opening or at the very least, the song. It is so bloody great and catches the exact premise of the game.
I'll never stop loving the scene showing tamamo, emiya and nero falling head first and then gilgamesh falling feet first. It's a subtle detail but really conveys how powerful and in control he is
@@nicosaurio87 Shaft did nothing wrong you dingus. The entire thing was Nasu's fuckup since he decided to mess with the source material instead of just adapting it as is. The only way to redeem the extra adaptations now is a SHAFT Fate/Extra CCC adaptation with Hakunon and Gilgamesh followed up with a spinoff (Doesn't need to be SHAFT) of FOXTAIL.

I always loved watching this PV way back then even though i understood nothing about the game and has only the original Fate/Extra as context for it since i couldn't read japanese i could only imagine what the game was about and all. Now 10 years later me and many others were able to enjoy the full extent of this amazing game and well, to this day after finishing all the routes i can say that i am still mesmerized by it like i was all those years ago. Thank you MarvelousAQL and also the translation team for making and translating the whole game for us all to enjoy it. Can't wait for Extra Record!
