I was convinced that he's immortal😭 He ejected six times due to critical plane failures and survived, one of the best if not the best pilot in the world, legendary skills. Great respect. Rest in peace Anatoly.

Mostly because I’m a sucker for the way the Sukhois look with canards. The 33 looks even cooler with the way the two seater cockpit/canopy makes that kinda curved cobra looking neck, look even more pronounced/stubby, especially with canards😍😍

Пилотаж кстати самый заурядный. Квочур не раз демонстрировал и намного более сложные программы, в этом клипе мне лично понравился заход на посадку: выпуск шасси в развороте, снижение по глиссаде и касание точно в "зебру".

I like the tune they use in this vid. Gonna rip it and use it myself. If someone makes a real good Su-27 sim then I might start to train on solo displays again. Someone could make a Su-27 flight sim, not a combat flight sim, just a flight sim with a real good flight model ... I would then start practicing again and dream together a program. The Su-27 This bird warms your heart. A Su-27 flight sim with no radar no missiles and no guns .... dream on dream on. And a complex real FM.
I have pictures of me standing next to this very plane from back in '95. Awesome. I really wish that the Russians could make a presence at our next airshow, but ever since Kvochur stole the show and completely embarrassed our RAAF pilots and the attending USAF pilots, it seems like the Russians have been banned. Its been at least 17 years!!! since the last Russian fighter performed at an Australian airshow and it happened to be this very Su-27 flown by ANATOLY KVOCHUR. LMAO.

I f you put western power plants and weapon systems into that airframe you would have one kick ass fighter. Sexy lines that can dance in air and kill you with out giving a thought. Not to mention much cheaper then the Raptor even with the refit.
