Quattro, as an extension from his childhood, is seeking attention and approval from his father, and he does this in sadistic ways, like a boy in his rebellious phase. As for the oldest, quintin? He sought family in other places, particularly kite and hart, but quickly left when he realized their origin. Honestly really well written characters.
This episode is up there as one of my favorites. What an amazing climactic ending to a duel! The final prophecy trap card being played and everything that followed is just amazing. I particularly love the sequence when Tron says "once the portal fully opens it can't be closed again!" followed by the animation of the portal.

The arc isn’t over, so it couldn’t be Vetrix or Dr. Faker yet, but I would’ve thought Quattro, Shark, Kite or maybe even Quentin; Trey was pretty low on the list of “Who I Thought Yuma Would Duel for the Season 1 Finale.” Especially after the episode where they bonded and formed a nice little friendship.
