- Gran Turismo 7 (PS5) 4K 60FPS HDR Gameplay (Tomahawk 645 km/h). Gran Turismo 7 is a sim racing video game developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game is the eighth mainline installment in the Gran Turismo series.[2] The game was announced on June 11, 2020 at the PlayStation 5 reveal event and is expected to be released on March 4, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, making it the first multi-console installment in the series. During the gameplay trailer, the game's main menu was revealed to be similar to that of the menu style of Gran Turismo 4.[3] This game brings the return of the GT Simulation Mode, encompassing the long-established and definitive single player campaign feature.[4] Other classic features were shown such as the return of traditional racing tracks and vehicles, Special Events, Championships, Driving School, Tuning Parts Shop, Used Cars dealership, and GT Auto while still retaining the new GT Sport Mode, Brand Central, and Discover that were introduced in Gran Turismo Sport.[2] The game will also feature the return of dynamic time and weather effects, which previously appeared in Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 6.[5] Despite the game having a single player campaign, like with Gran Turismo Sport, the game requires a constant internet connection in order to save your progress. The series creator Kazunori Yamauchi explains that this decision was made to prevent hacking and cheating. Arcade mode is fully playable offline. For the PlayStation 5 version, the game will take advantage of the console's increased processing power, dedicated ray-tracing hardware, custom solid-state drive storage, Tempest Engine, and DualSense controller to support features such as advanced haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, real-time ray tracing effects, 3D spatial audio, and reduced loading times.[7][8][9][10] The PlayStation 5 version of Gran Turismo 7 will also run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second with support for high dynamic range.

@@OutlawNabil97 show me a ps1 with better TPC. Again, if you are given a budget that only allows you to implement marginal improvements that's all that happens. I'm not in game dev but software and I can tell you there is a limited budget for each project even on 10 year old systems that mostly can just up and lift with minor adjustments.

This game doesn't even make you feel like you're going fast. The speedometer went up to 644kmh and everything looks like it's going by so slow.
that's the problem with gran turismo, it doesnt have any sense of speed when you set the camera to third person view. they should fix this to add more sense to realism
I’d blame it partially on the camera and but mostly on the track. This thing would be a nightmare to drive on any road course.
The chase camera in all GT's after GT3 are very ugly. No sense of motion, no sway when drifting. The car is glued down as the world moves by. Cars look great in spectator mode, but complete ass in third person.
GT had always been trash for that. Same with their car sounds and tire sounds. Smoke detail, everything. This game still does absolutely nothing for me.

The Tomahawk in GT games is like the Oppressor II in GTA V online. They are always crashing through messing with everybody else's online gameplay.

GT7 is when you drive 280 km/h but feels like 50 km/h. The real driving simulator
Because it depends on the environment. Driving 100 km/h on a highway feels like you are getting no where, while driving 100 km/h on a town road feels like you are about to crash.
Race tracks are meant for driving at high speeds, so they design the tracks in such a way that driving at high speeds still feels slow enough for you to make decisions. But, it also depends on the racetrack.
When I drove the SRT Tomahawk on the Daytona track, it felt as if everything was fast-forwarded going at 560 km/h. If an accident happened 300 meters away, I simply had no chance of avoiding it. As it only took my car 2 seconds to get there.
When I drove my McLaren F1 on the 0.5 mile American circuit in GT7, the view from the cockpit was so fast I had to resist blinking sometimes in order to not crash into the wall. Then driving the SRT Tomahawk on this track... it was physically impossible to drive.
I never noticed the sound when you're behind a car when you're drafting and then when you pull out along the side the car the wind noise pretty cool never noticed it while playing the game
I think 100km/h in Forza Horizon 5 is faster than 500km/h in this game, lol

Honestly the 1st feeling of speed in games for me was Mulsanne Straight on Circuit De La Sarthe “Le Man” in GT4….. on PS2 with component cables (480p) progressive scan tv. It had camera shake, and the cars reacted to the bumps at 265mph. Still a top 5 game for sound/visuals.
On another note- is the person driving in this video using the damn d-pad or something? Car looks terrible in the corners!
