Just for the record, you can also use the calipers and discs from the XC60. The discs are 328mm and the calipers have 2 pistons, instead of just one on the XC90’s calipers.
That's interesting mate. Nobody has ever mentioned xc60 before. Do the twin piston calipers work better? Is it all a straight swap like the xc90? Any clearance issues with the wheels? Do you know if wheel size or offset make any difference?
I have a smax 2.2 with 300mm discs. Im sure ive seen online my car shares the same platform as v70 or something. Whats a bolt on upgrade for smax? I have 18inch wheels.
For xc90 first generation only? I see that there is with only one pistom and dual piston. Its possible to put dual on? And what are difference for braking after swap? Brake booster strong enought to brake with new calipers?
@@RichST I keep getting the dreadful dpf code the car runs fine an everything I clear the code an it comes back have you dealt with anything like this in the past

Excellent video bud! What diameter v70 rotors? And what xc90 pads did you pair it all with?

Caliper carriers from XC90 also?
For the install xc90 brake calipers its need also xc90 brake calipers carrier or its fits oem from factory?
You'll need the XC90 calipers and carriers, focus RS mk2 discs, the brake lines are a straight fit.

@@TomislavDavorinŠtrk you want the caliper that fits the 336 discs which is the single piston mk1 XC90 brakes.
Aup rich asked you a few times on videos had no answer but where can I get a strut brace for my mk4 2.5 they only say for the diesel models
Did you also say that the V70 discs would fit too? If so, what years of XC90 etc will fit mk4?
The V70 discs are exactly the same as the Mondeo MK4’s, they are basically the same car.
It’s the first generation XC90.
