If you genuinely have an idea for a movie or short film burning away inside you then my best advice is to start scripting and writing it now. I have been working on something with a lifelong friend for the best part of 15 years now, during which time he has studied for a masters degree in film at university. It started as a small project and has evolved into something much bigger. It may seem like it is a long time coming to fruition but that's because we keep deciding that it is not ready lol. Still the dream is alive and one day it will take the world by storm. Good luck to you.

There might be as much good people now as 15 years ago, but 15 years ago, when smartphones where limited,no 24/7 society/culture and social media supplementing life instead of deeply wired into people's daily life, that people were not or at least less afraid to stand for their values, principles and ventilate common moral standards. Nowadays most of them might think the same but don't act accordingly anymore, perhaps as a result of fear, for example fear of being pushed into a radical corner, evert word needs to be weighted since the minority of extreme wokies won't avoid any chance to ruin your career if you simply say something that isnt 100 percent within the boundaries that aren't determined based on laws but on people that has been given a platform and, at least to me unknown reason, media feel like they can't disagree or simply ignore that minority.
