Whenever people brag to me about how they ""used to HATE [mlm company] but now i LOVE the products!!"" it screams to me they have no morals if the chance to make money is there
I would never go to a stylist that exclusively used Monat on their clients. Not only because I would never have an MLM product used on me, but I would not want to put up with the relentless sales pitch.
Not to mention, if someone is product-exclusive I would be questioning if they were actually in fact using the best product/s for my situation. No one company can be "everything" to "everyone". I would rather someone who has access to a plethora of products from different companies than exclusively one company (besides it being MLM).
At 12:03, she admits SECRETLY using products on people without their informed consent as if their [allegedly] loving it made it okay. She woulda been completely cussed out.
My hair dresser always told me what products she used at the time that is still colored my hair. Now i do have my own routine and my hair is doing okay. If they tell me it will do miracles by just using it twice nope I don’t believe that. One thing i use products depending on the season or if i was showering in hard water. I use hair products and switch up, but also have hair oils in summer or night mask for my hair.
Knowing someone is a “celebrity doctor” would make me question them HARD. I don’t know if you’re familiar with Dr. Oz a celebrity doctor here in the states. But I wouldn’t trust that man to remove a skin tag let alone do major surgery on me.
So, her hair went from stringy and destroyed, specifically from hair extensions, which I've experienced before, and that damage is from tension on the hair follicle, and can be really severe, even causing permanent spots of lost hair follicles, and temporarily having very thin hair. And five months of professional products did nothing, but two washes in five days w/ Monat products brought it back to life? How would that happen in 5 days, when you've had hair thinning? Makes no sense. Also, I hate how MLM's tell the huns to have this narrative of 'I used to be a skeptic, too!' I've seen that they very much encourage that. Doesn't matter if it's true for that 'rep' or not.
A note on the "money back guarantee" (and her assertion you can send back empty bottles!) - Monat's 30-day money-back guarantee only applies to first-time customers, and the refund is issued only for unopened or minimally used products, minus shipping costs. If you've used a significant portion of the product, it may not qualify for a refund, and the process requires you to pay for return shipping, making it less of a "full" refund. When Monat huns claim it’s a no-questions-asked full guarantee, they’re misleading people, as the terms are much more restrictive than they let on.
So...she initially rejected Monat partially to continue to profit from other products. Why should I trust her now when she definitely profits from these products?
Isn’t it strange, Eva her hair looks so much better than the blond monat babe! If her hair was back so fast after a few times of use from stings hair, why isn’t it luscious and thick? It laid flat against her head and those curls are done with a curlbrush.
As a girl from a small town, born in North Dakota I wanted to be salty about her ignorance and disrespect but I’ll wait for Monat to work its magic and go affiliate.
you and me both. I've been watching a lot in the last 2 years and it's helped me immensely to deconstruct and deprogram myself that they'll never be able to pull this shite on me ever ever again.
@@VanessaChats Back in the 90’s my next door neighbor invited me over to his house for a business opportunity meeting. I didn’t know what an mlm was back then, but as soon as they started talking about signing up family and friends, I was out. It was Amway by the way
"When someone tied to an MLM like Monat says they’re a licensed hair stylist for celebrities, they’re often relying on a mix of psychological tricks and logical fallacies to boost credibility. They’re using their professional status to create trust (appeal to authority) and dropping the “celebrity” card to make the products seem prestigious or aspirational (social proof and halo effect). It’s also a bit misleading, as being a good stylist doesn’t guarantee the products they’re selling are effective, let alone that the celebrities they mention actually use them. It’s all about making the pitch sound flashier than it really is." -- ChatGPT
Full transparency I’ve never been affiliated with Monet but was given the products as a pro. They really were fantastic. If they were sold in professional stores I would suggest them. That said not if they were sold over the counter because they are professional grade chemicals and not good for all hair types
Doesn’t she understand, as a professional hairdresser, that hair grows at a constant rate of about 1/2 an inch per month?? You can’t use any topical products to make it grow faster except maybe Monoxidil.
The fact that she has become product-exclusive is a big red flag as someone who is a supposedly "hair professional". Being exclusive to just one product is never a good thing as it can never be everything to everyone. (The fact it's Monat is the biggest red flag that she is most certainly about the money as I'm guessing she got suckered in by hearing about "all the money" she would be supposedly making compared to affiliate sales with other legitimate hair companies.) The other worry is that she's using these products WITHOUT INFORMED CONSENT regardless of how the customers "feel"!! Feelings not facts all the way. Give people the facts and not the 'facts' according to Monat.
her hair looks like mine when i was using all the wrong products-- too much "natural clean" conditioning products with too much oil, while also using a shampoo that was too stripping for my dry ass scalp and hair. now i use literally drugstore conditioners like the v05 conditioner only most days, and once or twice a week ill use a drugstore more clarifying shampoo or something followed by a thicker heavier drugstore conditioner (rn aussie miracle curl or the super thick and moisturizing costco one). my hair is fine AND thin with 2a waves, and it does much better with silicones over oils. its less porous now, less frizzy, has TONS volume, holds its waves without product, and with just a bit of some moisturizing hold creme-gel stuff from garnier then airdried it looks soft and voluminous and wavy and shiny to the max. all the products i use are under 10 bucks for at least 100ml of product for the gels and leave ins, and uner 10 bucks for like a huge bottle of the shower products. i bought most of the ones i have now in november, and i still have plenty of goop in the products left, like another 4-6 months at least.
11:23 If she was trying to hate it then a placebo effect should be fairly impossible though right? If you want it to be awful you can't trick yourself into a positive result..
An inch of hair growth in five months isn't unusual. Hair grows bit by bit. Also, putting something onto your hair won't make it grow, it grows from cells under the skin, inside the scalp. Monat didn't grow your hair, the passage of time did.
Oribe is super expensive, but the other brands she listed are less expensive than monat! If anyone wants incredible hair product recommendations I highly recommend Abbey Yung on here. In an attempt to learn more about how to make her hair healthier she got certified as a trichologist & I’ve gotten the best advice from her w/ tons of drugstore stuff.
interesting, so being a hair professional then you should know better than promoting this company. The fact that you do, lady in the video, kills all credibility about your hair knowledge. It might have work for her, that does not mean that the hair loss that other people experience did not happened. Just because you haven't experience something, does not mean it does not happened.

Yesss exactly!

💯
even I've heard of him yep! and agreed!
If all she uses are Monat products, shouldn't her hair look much better?? Eva, your hair looks terrific!!
THANK YOU :D
The more people try to convince me that they were "a skeptic" and "such a hater" and hey "really wanted to have the product" the less I believe them.

you're right, it absolutely makes no sense!

Thank you Vanessa!
And the 30 days starts from the day you purchase, not from the day your order is delivered.
Just wanted to say you are glowing! Love your smile :)
aw that's so kind!! thank you :))
At least she's making it more about the products than the business opportunity!
good point!
"Oh please tell us"
"Well, I'll tell you"
😅
hahaha
at 2:48 uh no ma’am (@ the mlm hun) I’m gonna keep buying my budget brand shower products from the grocery store that work just fine, like usual 😂
Same 😆
So...she initially rejected Monat partially to continue to profit from other products. Why should I trust her now when she definitely profits from these products?
"Celebrity hair stylist".... OK.... That means nothing.
Lol agreed
99% of all celebrities have extensions so there’s that
Isn’t it strange, Eva her hair looks so much better than the blond monat babe! If her hair was back so fast after a few times of use from stings hair, why isn’t it luscious and thick? It laid flat against her head and those curls are done with a curlbrush.
Thank you!! I agree that her hair should look a lot better considering how much she's bragging about Monat products being amazing etc
As a girl from a small town, born in North Dakota I wanted to be salty about her ignorance and disrespect but I’ll wait for Monat to work its magic and go affiliate.
🤞
The more she insists we trust her, the less I do. It's weird. I hope she gets out.
Thanks to watching antimlm content over the last few years, my BS meter is pretty accurate in general. Not just with mlm huns.
haha mine too!

She's the first monet hun I've seen without a hat so, I'll at least give her that.

“I have nothing to lose!”
Uh, it would be a lot more convincing if you DID have something to lose, maam!
I'm going to take a wild guess that most if not all haircare products are gluten free, so I'm not sure why they always brag about that.
Good point Lisa!
11:23 If she was trying to hate it then a placebo effect should be fairly impossible though right? If you want it to be awful you can't trick yourself into a positive result..
2 bad people don't understand what mlms are really about ❤
Love your videos🥰
thank you so much!
Take , my $$$$ to the food bank before giving 2 a MLM 🎉
