She's pretty much the anthropomorphic personification of a deadly sin, and while all other deadly sins are about indulging in self-satisfaction, envy is the one deadly sin that makes the one who "indulges" it suffer. And since she is a Hashihime, a youkai of jealousy, she likely cannot even NOT be jealous... Such a horrible life.

A dragon, an ocean, a horse, unicorn, cat and a green eyed woman are there. Highly reminiscent of the murals in the Neverending story, somehow. Other bridges in the town are highly thematic, another features a series of chains.
