Mystearica is the hypest zelda hands down. 2-Frame Downtilt into fully charged phantom? what the heck. No camping, just pure setups for the safest rush downs possible. Up tilt mixups? Consistent neutral B shield pokes? The most stylish Hair in smash? HOW THE HELL?. I wish I was half as confident in my moves as Myst.
Mystearica clearly has undeniable skill, but there's only so much you can do with Zelda's laggy ass when your opponent wants to get right up in your face. And I MAIN Zelda. She's just SUPER easy to punish... sadly...

im a very casual smash player playing less than twice a month and have been a zelda fan since the very beginning and now just getting into smash comp i realized i have been playing zelda very wrong lmao. I was always the type of play to just warp spam and actually win a lot with that. Keep in mind i pretty much only play her and 2 other characters while all my friends and roommates play way more than I do
Its like we are the same person. Buti stopped warp spamming. I like to spam side B into some crazy juggles. That up aerial can be VERY deadly. And anyone that gets close to you. Grab down and then up B them into the next dimension.
With the lack of... "available" commentators nowadays, I would love to see these guys get to host more tournaments. Some great and smart commentating here, you could tell they were both really into it.

When they’re offstage you two frame with downward angle ftilt and if that doesn’t work you back up two steps and do the same upB OoS/jump forward fair ledgetrap until they die or you can SideB them. And finally you come down with nair or dair to condition them to shield so you can eventually hit your once or twice a set Bowser Bomb shield break for a free stock. It’s not that hard I promise y’all.

Idk bout that i mean...heavies in this game have there weaknesses PRETTY fleshed out man,bowser id combo food,still is slow,landing options can be exploited pretty easily,and even tho his damage is high he still is a heavy so pretty slow ariels and what not so idk top 15 but never top 5 and MAYBE top 10 with some optimization

Bowser is THE heaviest character in the game yet has decently fast air speed and very fast run speed, had terrific aerials, hard hits, tough guy, and the fastest command grab. His only real weaknesses are his massive hurtbox, end lag, and few options at ledge. Essentially, Bowser is combo food, but once in neutral or advantage, Bowser is a monster. ProGuides, which averages tier lists, puts Bowser at B tier. I agree with that placement.
Bowser as a character is fine, but his Side B needs to get nerfed BIG TIME! Leon wins here thanks pretty much solely to how cheesy side b is. It's bullshit. The moves frame data is stupid. It comes out WAY too fast and is so easy to abuse for wins. Props to Myst for managing to spot dodge so many of them! Too bad Leon only needed to connect 3/15 of his side b's in order to take her stock.

Side B has enough endlag, but needs a few frames of startup lag added to the move I think. Enough to make it something players use a bit more thoughtfully. That and maybe less knockback when it connects. When I play Bowsers online, they all play exactly like Leon was playing, so I just keep them at a distance. That way I don't have to constantly avoid side B the whole match. Disappointing that these kind of degenerate playstyles/ tactics are rewarded in Smash-- online especially.
