colex39, Thanks for the reply I would think surely they would have updated RAAF Edinburgh to be able to accomodate C-17 and KC-30A.

    Hi,
I got a photo of A39-004 going overhead today.
Although not a amazingly rare visitor to Adelaide, its always nice to see the tankers come.
Last time a RAAF tanker came, the 330 did a touch and go and went north east.
Its nice to know that there are a few spotters out there who shoot video. Myself being a photography spotter.
    Have a nice day
    - Tom

Nice pictures. I am surprised though I am former RAAF myself is RAAF Edinburgh not rated for the KC-30A?

In reply to duttonfrx, was that from Adelaide Airport or the RAAF Base?

Thanks for watching! I'm not entirely sure about why it comes to Adelaide and not Edinburgh, I think predominantly it flys into Adelaide for troop deployments and ILS instrument approach training, if it isn't rated for Edinburgh it should be soon.
