    Okay, so who doesn't have 5 minutes to practice?! Everyone can sit down and practice for at least 5 minutes every day. So for all you drummers who are wondering what to do, or just want to improve your single bass speed and control, do this routine and feel the burn!
    I would recommend using this as a warm-up before you start your official practice routine, or before going on stage with your band.
    Thank you for all your support with our videos. I really really appreciate it. Whether you're a paid member of our new Drumeo.com website, or a loyal TH-camr, I hope to continue helping you with your drumming :)
    To your drumming success,
    Jared Falk

    Awesome, really awesome!! Great lesson, great teacher, great video, great audio and the PDF also helps a lot! I am very thankful for this exercise! I have been looking for good exercices to strengthen my right foot and get faster ... and this really does the job!! Although I have to say, I don't think they are that easy for beginner drummers 😁 but defo a great way to improve your foot skills, will incorporate this in my routine. Thanks a bunch, guys!

    I commented on this vid before, but this lesson is so good, I wanted to emphasize to new readers/watches how good this is. If you can't play it at his fadt tempo 100 bpm, or even his slow, just do it. The 16th note triplets at 100 bpm is quicket than Bonham on Good times. Even if you only increase 1 bpm a day, in 50 days you will have about as quick a right foot as you'll ever need!

  • @Musical_Skye
    @Musical_Skye 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for these exercises. Getting back into it again so have a long way to go. Had to start the triplet feel exercises at 40 bpm! lol So I'm not even at the Beginner level. But all of these give me something to work on and progress towards. Thank you for these and thank you Drumeo for having a place to go to for those of us unable to access "real" lessons.

      A great bass drum workout is drum beat on scentless apprentice. That used to be a killer for me but the trick is to practice slow. If you can't do it in 30bpm evenly, then you can't expect to play it 80bpm.

    Hi Jared, Great video as always. I started drumming 2 months ago and you are incredibly helpful.
    I started base drum doubles exercises using heel-toe technique. I feel it's easier barefoot since I know exactly where I stand on the pedal. With shoes on, I kinda get lost on the pedal going up and down. However, almost everyone seems to play with shoes. What's your thoughts on this? What could be an advantage of playing with shoes?
    Thanks !!!!

    • @MC-cd8ni
      @MC-cd8ni 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You most likely feel the pedal since you reposition your foot at the end of most measures in exercise 2. No time for that in exercise 5. That's where I lose it with shoes on.

  • @iansullivan9738
    @iansullivan9738 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    For those who can't focus on 1 pattern for 5 minutes, try an AB AC AD A.. system where you play 1 repetition of pattern A, then 1 rep of pattern B, then back to A, then pattern C, etc. This is the only way I don't burn out in a week.
