It’s a cultural thing Croatians think their native coffee is best and Americans think ours is best it’s comparable between two biases

Beautiful! Congratulations! I always thought that Croatian and Italian village life as it used to be with its markets, festivals, religious ceremonies, weddings, kids playing freely surrounded by glorious nature and architecture, etc. was a wonderful, cheerful way to live, idyllic really!
I have visited original place Supetar, which was role model for this beautiful project. You can feel silent joy of life, peace of mind and energy in the same time. People live according to the ancient unwritten rules, and are not much worried about material possesions. They all socialize effortlessly and are not divided based on income or their position in the community. Very relaxing feeling.
Taking a walk, catching some fish and watching sunset, simple but it may be beuatiful experience for average overloaded urban person. Even Bill Gates among other visited incognito one of those places (like Povlja, Jelsa, Hvar etc.)
I hope this may be start of a new trend which would enable people live more happy lives

Starbucks recently had a plan to come to Croatia, I think it was back in 2015. Maybe it will come someday.

They once had Starbucks spread throughout Australia, until they decided to close. They finally realised the average coffee, sold in mainstream cafes, was better than anything Starbucks could offer!

Dalmatia is not Balkan, and never was. It was historical venetian and later austrian province, and also ruled by the Napoleon..Today it is typical mediterranien part of Croatia with the way of life like on the south of Italy or Spain...Balkan culture is something different.
