I just noticed my airbox injector has been leaking. About one drop second, pretty substantial. Is it possible this leads to a lean condition and damages the engine?
Just hanging the air temp sensor to unfiltered air seems ghetto. Why not have a redesigned air intake. No drilling the stock air boot maybe angle the injector towards the TB, provisional hole for air temp sensor with mounting holes, and have a vent for the power valve? Id pay extra for it and I'm sure most would!
All of the newer TBI bikes now have the air temp sensor in or near the airbox like this. All it needs to do is sense the temp of the ambient air around the engine, theres no need for filtering or being located within a set distance from the intake. Anywhere in teh aribox is totally fine.
@sbmotoperformance thank you. The TSP power kit is awesome. My 250 XCW is a completely different bike. I'm sure my 150 XCW will be significantly improved as well.
Do you have a specific TPI tune that changes the injector timing more like a TBI? I'm asking due to being interested in the BRC TBI conversion throttle body, and/or seeing some people adapting the TBI throttle body to the TPI.
i have the old kit and went to install after having it sitting for quite some time and the old video seems to be gone. how do i install the sensor the old way? is it just a silicone seal between the boot and the sensor?
OK that video was set to Private when the new video was uploaded... I have changed it to Unlisted now which means it can still be viewed with the appropriate link... you can view it here... th-cam.com/video/Oy-ShVdo_Rg/w-d-xo.html
Why do you say we dont have to remove air boot anymore , but how can we drill out hole for injector with boot still on the bike ? Im sorry but ive watched this video 3x now am still confused. You should just do a new video. If anyone knows a link to a better video post it please because im already regretting this purchase
Should also include a longer injector harness so it doesnt have to be unplugged everytime we lift the subframe to remove shock etc

Does this apply to a 2020 150 XCW as well? I'm about to order the TSP power kit and IRK.
Yes it does.

How do I know if the kit includes the updated adapter if I'm buying from an EU reseller?

Our IRK tunes have different injection timing and work like a TBI.

@@TwoStrokePerformancethank you! It is greatly appreciated!
Okay question. I have installed the kit the old way, do I need to do anything with it or is it still fine to use it in that fashion?
Following as well...?
The old install is perfectly fine. NO need to change anything.
Thanks for the reply. @@sbmotoperformance

You don’t need to drill the hole with the updated kit. Worst comes to worst the airbox boot is easy to remove. Why are you regretting the purchase ?
