This kit has changed my mind about electronic kits! It has totally inspired me to go back to drums. I love that it's designed to look/feel like an acoustic kit- one question, when you import the tracks into your computer, is that a special app or a program that comes with the kit?

you can great sound out of this kit after tweaking it a bit. and the mixer up top is key to getting a great balance on each preset. or the money its a tough value to beat even against the more expensive Roland.

Dear NUX team, I hope you are well. I recently acquired a DM-210 electronic drum model and I am having trouble connecting it to my computer via USB cable. The Windows is not recognizing the device and I cannot find drivers on the internet. I would like to know what the solution is for this problem and if you could help me. Hi! I am new to DAWs and I intend to use this kit with Reaper + SD3 on Win10. Drivers were updated and my PC still can't detect the module as a MIDI device. I was able to run it in SD3 Standalone app but the "NUX DM-8" MIDI input cannot be found and a random "MIDI IN" option was available which worked.
Also, how do you add individual tracks to cover each piece of the drumset in the DAW?
WAVIMPORT - Please Make sure your USB drive is formatted to MS-DOS (FAT32), and double-check that the WAV file is in 16-bit/44.1kHz mono format.
it should be have a custom profile of midi note feature, so no need to change again and again every using diferent midi software

That's a tough one as we don't have a distributor in Panama yet.
I recently purchased this kit. My main concern is that when I use it with EZDrummer 3, it cannot support low latency (192 samples). After playing about 3-5 min. the sound starts to crack and distorted. Maybe I miss something. Glad if someone can help.
Cracks and pops are typically a matter of making adjustments to the latency via your DAW.
@@nuxaudio Thank you for noticing. I did not use/connect it to a DAW, I directly connect it to EZDrummer 3. Input is DM8 then the output is also DM8 with buffer size of 512 samples, it still cracks and pops. Do I need to route it to a DAW? The internal interface from the module

I adjusted the latency into 160 samples (6ms) in EZDrummer 3, it still pops and cracks.. Too much sample (400 samples or more) reduces cracks but not ideal for live performance..
but if I use an external audio interface (scarlett).. EZDrummer with the same latency, works fine.. so I conclude that there might be something wrong with the audio interface included in the DM8's module.. or Im missing something..

@@yusufalp got dm8. it ok for home use, very dissapointing live. It also broke after a few weeks of use. Maybe 40 hours and lots of problems.

Choosing between this and the roland td17kv. Hoping anyone here can give some insights.
TD17 doesnt come with hihat and snare stand.
TD17 definitely has a better module, sounds and latency. However it's alot smaller kit and doesn't have other experience enhancer like snare stand and real open-close hihat.
If you like big and good looking kit for cheap and use drum software, this isn't a bad choice.
@@SpedRockt Thanks for this. Kinda reassures me that my decision of going for the DM8 is not bad afterall. I was actually disappointed with how bad the sounds were when I first played it. After some tweakings with the levels and instruments I was able to get some decent sounds from it. However, still not as good as I expected them to be. But you're defenitely right with the experience enhancers, hihat and snare feel great. Which I think is more important for me as a beginner to intermediate drummer. Cheers.
