This latest Steez baitcaster reel has a more beautiful design than the previous models. Its drag force of 5 kg can catch big fish.However, I recommend to Daiwa that it is good that this Steez reel has a power drag of at least 6kg.Main frame body is made of magnesium to reduce weight and look more compact.Magnesium material has strong and light properties. However, the disadvantage is if fishing in salt water because the reel frame body made of magnesium is actually not suitable for fishing in saltwater. This reel is suitable for fishing in fresh water. However, if this reel is brought to fish in brackish water it can still be used because the pH level of brackish water is not as high as sea water.However, if you want to fish in brackish water areas such as estuaries, especially for casting in seawater with a high salt PH level using this reel, my answer is yes but less suitable. If fishing in the sea or estuary, it should be washed with clean water to remove the salt attached to the body of this reel. Moreover, the reel is made of magnesium material.That's one of the weaknesses of the magnesium material, although it is strong and light, but it is actually not resistant to the high PH concentration of seawater.The reel that is suitable for fishing in the sea with a high salt PH level is a reel frame body made of aluminum. It is as strong as magnesium and resistant to sea water.It's just that aluminum is heavy when compared to magnesium which is lighter in nature.About the ratio, it is actually subjective but if I choose a reel, I will choose a ratio of 7:1,7:2,7:4 which is HG. It is sufficient in my opinion.This is because, in my opinion, the ratio reel is 7, it can be said that almost all lures can be played (around).Either surface lure (Top water), shallow diving lure or deep diving (jerkbait) or other diving and also crankbait.In fact, my opinion as long as I've been fishing, reels that have a ratio of 7:1, 7:2, 7:3, 7:4, it can be said to be balanced between speed and strength.In my opinion, this steez reel can be said to be perfect even though the frame body of this reel is not as strong as aluminum.I give this reel a score of 8/10 and this reel is also suitable for fishing Barra fish, magrovejack and I think this reel can also fish black bass as well.I think this reel should be tested and I recommend testing this reel for Black Bass fishing.
