Arduino LCD backLight problem (SOLVED)

Thanks. You saved me after 4hours of Google search. Also if any of you guys getting only bright screen and not texts printed on lcd display. Then adjust that blue thing in back of lcd i2c display with screw driver. That'll work.

Guys, if you're ever stuck in this problem, I've solved it by pressing down the white part on the right of the LCD in front. Put some pressure on it so that there will be a backlight.

thank you very much! i was almost dumping the display in garbage! :D It's the display Joy-it I had to connect the VCC and GND pins on the other side of the adapter board, very strange!!!! :D

the cables are for back light, the lcd is active even without it, but wont be much visible

had the same problem, till yesterday it worked properly but today backlight is off and i had to conect those two pins

Words are not coming in display but light is coming .... I have used female header pin to connect i2c ... is it the problem

On i2c is a screw and you can setup the contrast of pixels on LCD. First try that.
