Thank you so much. So much simpler than trying on a thousand different pants & shoes. Knowing the reason WHY it looks good is as important as knowing that it looks good.
Thanks for this, Shari! "Seeing" how to find thoses diamonds makes much more sense to me! Never considered shoes would make a difference on finding the diamonds! SOOOOO excited for March 1st and the release of the new outfit planner!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is wonderful! I have always hated how I’ve looked in capris, but I am a huge fan of crop pants. Thank you for telling us about the diamonds and offering great shoe suggestions. You are awesome!
This was great. I just purchased a pair of unfinished cropped jeans and came to YT to see what kind of shoes to wear. This definitely gave me the confidence to pull it off.
I am 5’3” and I’m bowlegged! My calves just don’t come together at all. I never looked good capris and shy away from skinny and tapered legs. I would like to try a cropped jeans this year, and I want to thank you for telling us the best shoes to wear with them. Looking forward to next week.
Hi Shari! This was so helpful! I have never ever in my 50+ years ever heard about these diamonds until now. It makes sense. However, can you tell me how you would style these for fall and winter? Can I wear boots or booties? I see wearing mules...anythings else. I like the elevated tennis shoe look. How fun! Thanks so much!
Hi Shari. Very interesting. I've never heard of this before. So I thought that I would try it out. I think I have a problem. I don't have any diamonds. Does this mean anything? Where should the hem be on my legs? Guess I need to resort to long pants and maxi dresses. Thanks again.
Thank you for the “diamond” information. Now I know what to shop for. I have trouble wearing any type of heel. Too many years in combat boots I guess. I never liked capris snd know why now.
Quick question: I've found my diamonds, however, I wonder if this also applies to shorts. Also, I am petite (5'3") with muscular legs, so I tend to go a little shorter with my dresses and skirts to lengthen them. My problem is that because my legs are thicker (you have lovely legs, by the way) I don't have a diamond above my knees. I would love any advice, Shari! Thank you, thank you!
Capris work on me because I have long legs, so they hit just below the knee. My short skirts or pants hit me just below the knee, while my long ones need to go to my ankles (which is hard because also plus-size and designers apparently think that we get shorter as we gain weight.
@ThePinkLady Apple Some make “tall” and those are great. But I have this awesome pair of plaid jeans that barely reach my ankles when I’m standing up. Maybe I should turn them into capris for summer this year; I’ll get more wear out of them!
@ThePinkLady Apple Will do! I had a pair of thinner plaid pants years ago when my youngest brother was in Highland dancing, and when we went to a ceilidh as a family, he and my other brother wore kilts and I wore my pants.
I wear a variety of shoes - running shoes, sandals , tennis shoes with capris-it would be too much trouble to only buy a pair of pants based on my shoe style.
I'm more curious as to what tops to wear. No matter which I try, I think I look silly. We live in a desert, and I don't always want to wear shorts, and jeans are suffocating. Help!

Amazing! I can’t believe I am today years old when I learned this valuable tip! Thank you!

Brilliant ❣️ now I know why some lengths look better and will keep in mind trying different heels. Thank you for such clear advice 🤓

Just go for a very slight wedge. It honestly can be a quarter of an inch or even a half inch heel and that works.
Thank you!!

It does apply to shorts as well. You might do better in a walking short that hits right at the top of the knee. Try that!
I love this dear, so insisting
Terrific Job, are you on TikTok?
