Thanks for the unboxing. I just got my starter box and am excited to try it out. Any suggestions for first time build lists? Like you said there are a lot of options!
The minis are cool too but even if you got it and didn’t plan on using the minis it’s a pretty good deal. Obviously I’m biased but I’m a huge proponent of Deadzone, it’s super fun and if you can I would highly recommend you give it a try
@@DreadPathZone I might buy the set Im really on the fence :p. Im watching all your 3th ed games. One thing thats making me hesitate is that I dont like when terrain is easy to push or fall with minis :p. I guess I could make it stick with something like blue tack, tape or the like.
I like using polystyrene cement to glue my stuff together, will that work for the hard plastic stuff in the box? I know I need normal super glue for the resin stuff anyways so it is not a big problem, but I would prefer the cement so I am curious
I can’t say for sure, I’ve only ever used super glue. I’m a firm believer in not glueing the terrain unless absolutely necessary, but for the models I would guess that the hard plastic would work with cement. Again, I don’t know for sure
Man, I can't be watching this, I still haven't painted my Battletech Kickstarter OR my Warpath/Deadzone armies and now THIS? BTW, got a funny story about the Enforcer army I got a few years ago, you'll never guess what happened...
@@DreadPathZone This happened a while ago, so I'm fuzzy on the numbers. I had ordered the Heracles set, and instead of getting like 4 squads of enforcers and 2 squads of pathfinders, i got like 4-6 extra squads of pathfinders or something. At that point I decided I was just gonna be Tau, with that many marker rifles.
I was in a simialr boat, but you know what, now that I have the sprue, I kind of love the look of the ranger helmets and all the weapon options. I've liked the playstyle of the list for a long while but actually having the models has sort of swayed me a bit on what I thought of them
GCPS were my first set so i may have some bias (i also havent got the main game yet so im going just on the figures) but the simple soliders are really nice to me for a very simple desighn theres alot of variety and i think that simplicity amoung the uniqueness of other factions is what makes them stand out
The gasmask Veermyn sold me on them too. I love their little pressure suits and masks!

I’ve got that question quite a bit, I’ll have to make a video of what to make!
Im interested in trying deadzone, may seem heretic to players but I would like to be able to get everything in the box but the minis XD

@@tpa3437 most people like glue a lot more than me and blutac is always everyone’s friend
Did he ever release the starter lists for the box?
Deadzone for dummies is totally what I need.
I got my 3rd Ed starter preordered as soon as I could so I am excited
Nice looking box. I'm in Australia so we're getting it a couple of weeks late :(
Any recommended starter lists with the box contents? and then what to change to take to 200pts

@@DreadPathZone Okay, thanks. Pretty cool that the terrain sticks without glue, picking up my box today!
@@Pogotono you’re going to love it!
So much excite! :D
Only 6 Command Dices in two player starter? Again? You need minimum 8 dices (if both players use Leaders with Tactician 1).
That is an error in the this pre-release set. The retail release will come with eight.
@@manticgames good to hear
Is this the 2 player starter edition
basically the £90 on the website
or is this with one of the extras kits
This is the standard version.
@@manticgames ooo sweet
cant wait for them to start shipping
Yup this is the basic starter with no extras, I would recommend the one with bonus terrain if you don’t have terrain from previous editions though

@@ScarriorIII well I know a thing or two about painting a ton of enforcers
@@DreadPathZone Do you have like a discord or something? Would love to discuss tactics, army lists, etc.
Dead body better than heroic rock.
I don't own any GCPS either. They are just too uninteresting to me.

@@DreadPathZone The Rangers are legit. I think the lack of tanks is what ultimately keeps people from playing GCPS, at least in Warpath.

I’m a massive Halo/Aliens fan so all my GCPS are painted to homage both IP’s. My ranger models look exactly like ODST’s. Gotta love helljumpers! 🔥
