As a person from Bihar, please stay away from Bhojpuri songs... Majority (if not) all bhojpuri songs are heavily auto tuned and with weird lyrics.

@@reapersenpai869 Yeah memes, not for music analysis.
Also, I know there are really amazing bhojpuri Bhajans and devotional songs, especially Sardha Sinha is amazing, but most of the popular songs are cringe af. I can't even listen to them due all the weird voice modulation they do

@@crusher9776 As someone who knows the songs from both the industries, I'll say bhojpuri has more trash than Bollywood. In Hindi we still many gems and good music comes through but Bhojpuri songs are just too much modulation... I absolutely hate it. The only bhojpuri I hear is older songs from Manoj Tiwari, some Ravi Kishan and mostly devotional songs.

There are still a lot of festivals left. The major ones are holi and rakshabandhan, every festival has more different festivals followed with as deepawali followed with Dhanteras, roop choudas, deepawali, annkoot( worship cows, make every vegetable possible nearly 56, worship mount Goverdhan situated in madhyapradesh,
lastly Bhai dooj this sister fast for his brother's happiness and longevity, The married daughter comes to visit their parents and brother to celebrate the festive season.

12:21 OMG you finally came across CHHAT PUJA....It is the most difficult fasting festival, 36 hours continous fast and a total of 4 days fast is observed by devotees. It will start just after 4 days after diwali. It is 4 days festival. We worship both setting and rising sun, signifying everything that rises eventually sets and everything that sets eventually rises.
Chhat is emotion for Biharis specially ❤.
OG Singer Sharda Sinha is very famous for singing folk Chhat Puja songs, And songs are mixture of Magadhi, Bhojpuri and Maithili language.

The reason Ganesh is released into water, is because Shiv, his dad, gave Ganesh North India as his kingdom, and South India to his other son, Karthikeya.
When Ganesh visits his brother in the South, he stays for 9 nights (Navratri) and must leave before he overstays his welcome - and is cast into (usually flowing) water.
Ganpati visarjan (casting into flowing water) used to be a private celebration in each household in the South. It became a more public celebration when Bal Gangadhar Tilak wanted to show the power of the people against the atrocities of the. British Raj in the battle for independence. The first Ganesh Visarjan happened on the beaches of Mumbai and became a MASSIVE big deal in cities like Pune, Kolhapur, Nasik, etc.
The Sarvajanik (public) Ganpati Visarjan (immersion) tradition continued even after the British were kicked out of India.

The reason people formed the big pyramid in Krishna Janmashtami is cause of the stories of lord Krishna. When krishna was a little kid he used to finish all the dairy products like curd, butter, etc really quick as they were his favs. So Yashoda his foster mother would keep all the food really high so he couldnt reach it. So Krishna would call his 3-4 friends and form a pyramid to get the food. Thats why people celebrate it by tying a pot filled with curd really high and people form a pyramid to break the pot. Also not everybody can participate in the pyramid it requires people who are skilled for it.

    • @bhoomi18
      @bhoomi18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

7:53, its actually called Dhunuchi Naach, (Dhunuchi Dance). Dhunuchi is the pot she is carrying. Yes its very hot, its a clay pot. You fill it up with dried coconut husk pieces and add a bit of Dhuno (plant resin from the Saal trees). It will give out a lot of smoke and warmth when lit up. The embers burn for long. Its used traditionally for rituals.

Every indian festival has some scientific and/or spiritual reason to be celebrated in the way they are celebrated although you can have a debate on the manner in which they are celebrated now and especially for people outside Bharat you only get to see what is shown in films and yt videos but nonetheless they started these festivals because of certain reasons and because not everyone understands and care about scientific or spiritual reasons they tied them with other reasons like when they explain why these fests are celebrated not saying that those stories and reasons are complete bs but still you need something that ties everyone's emotions together so that each and every individual can benefit from it.

Chhath Puja is near and seeing my favourite people on the internet get to know my favourite time of the year, my favourite festival is great!
Chhath Puja gives a lot of importance to folk devotional songs, they are beautiful! Also, bollywood, sadly, doesn't portray any good culture of bihar except for crime and un education, so you will never find a hindi movie which picturises chhath. But, music does,so even big names like sonu nigam have sung chhath folk songs!

thnx to your leaders like lalu yadav and his family, his gundas/bahubali like pappu yadav who overshadow any positive aspect of yr state.
and i agree that bihar produces max number of IAS officers, but what do they contribute. all they do is try to maintain status quo, crack deals with builders/contractors and get themselves 4-5 flats and some land.
i hv more respect for a bihari labourer , street vendor or rikshaw driver than for an IAS officer.
u guys keep blaming bollywood, but never question your leaders. bihar/UP maximum receive max budget from central govt. so dnt complain bt money.
