Echo, echo, echo, echo... I am guessing the audio from the Lav mic the guy was wearing was somehow lost and they ended up having to use the in camera audio. Videos like this are what makes me agree with the "experts" that say, surprisingly, good audio is more important than good video when publishing on TH-cam. The video content was good though, useful to see the difference in hulls. I will have to store this information away for when I pick one of these machines up used in several years.

Is BRP still making Sea-Doo's during this Covid-19 or have they stop production for the time being? Reason I'm asking is because a dealer told me they weren't getting any more sea-doo's in because they stopped production ... is this true? I believe he was just trying to get rid of what he had left over so I just said no thanks
Unfortunately, BRP shutting down production of new units for 10 weeks did strongly hamper the 2020 model supply. Currently, many dealers are sold out while others are quickly buying up as many unsold units as possible. Thankfully, as BRP restarted production again, they've commenced on 2021 models and are expected to deliver these units weeks if not a whole month early.
The Watercraft Journal it’s not all about speed for some ppl , 55mph is fast on the water plus some ppl don’t want the more expensive ski, supercharger maintenance ,future repair if something does happen, & less fuel efficient. Just imagine trying to buy a jet ski and wondering which one to buy a GTI 170 or spend the 2k difference for the GTX which is the same ski pretty much right...Or is it not? only does the GTX 170 come with more features like the newer storage area, nicer dash screen with more features, slow mode and cruise control that you don’t get on a GTI you also get the famous T3 hull the same hull on sea Doo’s RXT X it’s longer, wider, deeper and has a bigger back platform but is the 2k worth it for all that? How does the ace 1630 push the t3 through the water compared to the smaller poly tech 2.0 the t3 hull might be one of the best designs out there but it’s bigger and heavier than the poly tech 2.0. Is it slower or faster ? How does the ace 1630 push it through a turn ? Can it take you further on the water because a GTX holds 2.6 more fuel than the GTI with the same motor? Just saying y’all are a great channel that compares and reviews skis. The GTX is being left out why not be the only channel out there with a full review on it ?
It's about demand and then TRYING to get our hands on a unit, really. Everything (informatively) on the GTX 170 can be gleaned from reviews on similar machines. The T3 hull is on the RXP-X and this is the last year of it. The ST3 hull is good, but needs significant aftermarket assistance (in the form of RIVA sponsons and the soon-to-be-released RIVA intake grate) to be great.
@@tellis17 Same the 2018 GTX 155 had the single digital gauge vs the limited analog and digital then they hanged it for 2019 I can't find a review on any of the new ones and recent years I'm good with my RXT X 300 though

You'll be VERY hard-pressed to find any 2020 left on dealer floors. Supply was heavily reduced because of COVID this year, but the 2021 models are rolling off of lines currently, so if you're patient (4-6 weeks) you can score one of the newest models!
The Watercraft Journal I am watching this video once again as it is probably the only one on the entire YT comparing those models. And with that great amount of useful info. But the sound...makes it difficult for non-English spoken person :/

The Watercraft Journal not in the rental buisiness the gti from earlier years were fiberglass and repairable the newer hulls get damaged and can’t be fixed but I guess for those who live on lakes and such they are probably fine

It's a slow trickle, but it's happening...but mainly in the major markets. If you've got cash-in-hand, be ready to drive to and all over Florida.
I bought at RXT230 in 2018. It appears that model has been discontinued.
Yes, the RXT 230 was terminated as there was no difference between it and the GTX 230 besides colors.

It's a HUGE difference! The GTI has 1.5-times the storage of the GTX.
