We use to race NASCAR supers modifier's at the San Jose speedway. The supers were like a sprint car except for the bottom rails were 2'x4' tubing from the firewall back. We ran wings and steel blocks a mechanical Fuel injection and Alcohol. San Jose was almost flat we ran 2 to 3 inch of rollout. We were one of the top teams. Now when we ran banked track we ran a lot more rollout some times more than 10 inches. One time we ran a track that ran only one year. the banking was so steep that on a red flag there was a sprint car and their tire went flat sitting in the middle of the corner and the car just feel over. No kidding it feel over. The track was cut into the ground so the walls were about 6 to 7 feet tall. The entire walls were made out of stacks of tires. We ended up running 20 inches of rollout. Not just use but a lot of the fast guys were. It was the craziest race we ever ran. We never went back. Thanks for the video I was getting excited when you got up second. You did great. Working through the problems you had is what make the differents between good and great. How did Dirty daddy do I saw his stuff next to you guys.

I live about an hour and 20 minutes north of Bristol Motor Speedway and it is shaped a lot like that Track their Volusia with wide corners and decent wide straightaways but yes the banking at Bristol is no exaggeration about being steep and it's nearly straight up and down from midpoint of the track up to the outside wall, in turns one and two and three and four and it makes the racing fast for that half mile track because of that steep banking

Your best imitation of Bristol is gonna be Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap TN. BankIng and all. March 13th. Plus, Welshman, Hedgecock, and McCarter are all regulars there. Thank me later lol

You're right about bristol, when they put dirt on that track, it just looks like it doubles in size, even though it's already big and especially for a dirt race and it's fast with steep banking
And the grandstands are so tall they kinda remind me of Indy from the outside I think.
@@jongolliher4280 you're absolutely right man about the outside of ""The Super Fast 1/2 Mile Stretch Of Asphalt"" Being so High Up in The Air and Tall and The Place is also Cool to See, from the Center of the Pit Area Because of how Big It Is, To Be A Half Mile Race Track!!!! ""The Steel On The Hill"" is what I've Called Bristol for Years LOL
@@goldhunter9641 I like "steel on the hill", that's good!. : ) : )
Yous are a beautiful family. And probably one of the best race teams out there. And you should be very proud of Joseph.Because he will be world champion one day. Good luck boys Ricky from Australia
Congratulations to you guys!!!
Great job guys!!!
You boys weren’t too smart at Christmas. Should have bought J a chestie....CEO could work and film🤣✅
Great video as always. Keep up the great work!!!
I hate that I watched highlights of race and anocer for race said when joseph was running in 2nd or third he said oh he won't stay there he doesn't have anything for these guys well I think with them doing as well as there doing without all the money these other teams have says alot about them these other teams have guys that just work on there cars fill time and joseph is running with and beating these boys good for you HTF big fan
Your best imitation of Bristol is gonna be Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap TN. BankIng and all. March 13th. Plus, Welshman, Hedgecock, and McCarter are all regulars there. Thank me later lol
Was awesome to see yall race in person! WoO and 604s put on an amazing show! Not to mention the heat race!
Nice job guys like you said two top 10s good outing for the beginning of the year.
Finally got to meet the family. Very humble and polite. It was a pleasure to meet yall
they really are southern is my home track and i used to watch them irl a few years before they started youtube
If you ever raced at Volunteer Speedway in BullsGap TN and raced at Volusia you can figure out Bristol because it's like Volusia's straights length wise and volunteers banking. The local guys like Bloomquest use a similar setup for Bristol as they do for volunteer speedway except gearing for the length.
I’m bummed was gonna go camp at Bristol for dirt nationals but sadly have prior commitments
💪🏻💪🏻
You guys are awesome and amazing Joseph is a amazing driver can’t wait to see him Jesse and you race all year long
Have you all ever visited ky dirt tracks
6th placed 5th is a decent finish out of 26 car field. the Tennessee boys kind of stole the show though.
Yes it is
Great job HTF to the entire family and crew members awesome 👍🏻🏁🏁🏁
He is one of the best drivers out there
