Yep. Sure am. 2-4 more inches tonight. My bro in Franklin and cousin in Columbia, Some folks are trapped I hear in houses in Columbia. Thanks for your prayers. I just continuing to film so that I don’t get too frazzled
Please stay SAFE, Kaye! I've been following you since years back, when we both lived in California, around... 2018, am guessing. Now I am in Florida and retired, still getting acclimated to the Panhandle. I never miss your videos. LOVE ❤️ THEM ALL!
in1989, the year I was pregnant with Dylan ,I had to plant my gardens 3 times from the record breaking rains .The year before was a bad drought and we had dug an irrigation well and put in drip irrigation .I m grateful for sandy loam and level ground. It's been too wet here to even till ..much less plant corn yet .I am picking the first strawberries though .moving slow getting the planting done. Many things never got pruned or mowed. We can just do our best .Stay safe Kaye our local town' s streets were flooded only the big roads were even safe to drive
No it’s going to be flood. I’m continuing to film and I have another segment but I power down my computer just in case so I’m not sure when you’ll see it
I hope this comment finds you safe, dry, and well! I'm very sad about your corn! Last year, I planted my green beans a few hours before we had a heavy, straight-down rain! One lonely bean plant came up😂 So yeah, you just go in there and plant again. My seedlings are going into distress, having to wait to go out, but I don’t want to risk a frost. All in all, gardening is a gamble! So many things can happen. Just ask for the Lord's blessing, and that He would make up for any losses.
I'm going to tell my bees about your flower patch, Kaye! I need plant more flower seeds if I want them to be well fed for the winter. Fruit orchard looks wonderful!
Wow that's what I'd call a gully flusher! So sorry about your corn and other seedlings getting washed out it is beyond heartbreaking. Looks like it is not over yet for many states tonight but pray it is over soon. Stay safe...
Same here in parts of TX. I've been trying to put a new flower bed in for weeks, it's so frustrating, I've got annuals and perennials as well that have been waiting for a couple months.
Ryan Hall Ya'll says there will be a lot of flooding after the rains coming tonight. Hope you don't get water damage. Might be a sleepless night of sweeping water out of the garage.
Looks and sounds like here this morning. We had marble size hail too. The sun is out now and who knows if we will get another round tonight. We have enough boot sucking mud!
Pickers! I had a few against my home and I cut the tops off too. Then I sprayed the roots. Done. Those are terrible. I didn’t see one once behind my garage and that thing was huge!
Those thistles are edible, but I'm certainly not suffrage you let them spread. I believe they're in the same family as Artichoke, and are used to make milk thistle.
Kaye..lu here from idaho..we're all struggling with gardening..it's so windy and cold here..snow still on mountains around the valley near Boise...peas and potatoes won't grow....etc..etc...how and when can I plant my summer stuff....
I use the Farmers Almanac as a guide for when to plant what. You can plug in your zip code to see what they say. I live in Texas but moved from Oregon and grew up in WA State. I would wait until the ground is above 50 or 60 degrees. Wait until the winds calm down and it begins to warm up. Wind can be very harmful for newly planted vegetables. As I have learned since moving to Texas 😬.
You peach tree has borer. It will kill the tree eventually. Peaches are notorious borer bate. Welcome to the area. Don't replant peach in the same place.
Rotation right on top of me!
🙏
God be with you 🙏
Come back on please!! Let us know how you are. Of course, when it over and your safe
Are you safe, Kaye ❤
Oh Kate, I am so sorry, watching Ryan Hall Y’all and wondering if you are in the path of all this. Praying for you.

Please stay SAFE, Kaye! I've been following you since years back, when we both lived in California, around... 2018, am guessing. Now I am in Florida and retired, still getting acclimated to the Panhandle. I never miss your videos. LOVE ❤️ THEM ALL!

Wow, sorry to see some of the crops are flooded. At least you are safe and your home is intact, that is more important.

Kaye u should consider oval tin raised beds like living traditions for some of the same reasons...forget in ground, that would help you alot!

No matter where you live, it seems the weather beats up our gardens. Hope your garden can recover.
Tornado warning now. Under stairs
God please protect Kaye! And others.
We made thistle lemonade one year. We juiced the thistle and added lemon and a little sweetener of choice. It was delicious.
How on earth did you work around the thorns!
You have certainly been getting the rain. Hope it gives your plants a chance to grow.
I'm going to tell my bees about your flower patch, Kaye! I need plant more flower seeds if I want them to be well fed for the winter. Fruit orchard looks wonderful!

Thank you God bless you
@@Latebloomershow Make sure vehicles are protected in case of hail too. Praying this all passes soon.
We could certainly use some of that rain in southeast Alabama . Praying the good Lord will send some our way this afternoon or tomorrow .
It will be OK. One thing at a time.
Be safe
It wet here to calling for it all through Thursday
Same here in parts of TX. I've been trying to put a new flower bed in for weeks, it's so frustrating, I've got annuals and perennials as well that have been waiting for a couple months.
Hope you are able to watch Ryan Hall. Big tornado passing under Nashville to the east. Just went through Columbia. Stay safe
So sorry your getting so many storms
That is a serious storm you have going.

It’s bad in Sydney Australia rain storms and then sunshine then more rain 🌧️
Praying for all states that this weather is causing fear , God is with us .
Greetings,
You need to put in some drainage...4 feet down and out. Create a pond from your runoff.
Cheers,
Upstate NY

Katie don't worry I'm looking at exactly the same weather here in south Central Tennessee. I'm under hurricanes till 11:00.
Looks and sounds like here this morning. We had marble size hail too. The sun is out now and who knows if we will get another round tonight. We have enough boot sucking mud!
❤
When you’ve done all you can do -stand Ephesians 3:16 ❤
If possible next time use a lopers and if you can bag them even better. The bull thistle is medicinal, I believe
Pickers! I had a few against my home and I cut the tops off too. Then I sprayed the roots. Done. Those are terrible. I didn’t see one once behind my garage and that thing was huge!
Thistle plants are edible peel like celery. Research it it.
@@tgrooms62 Oh wow…I sure will! Thank you. I have a few already popping up. But not where I sprayed last year. New area
Does anyone have news about Kaye? Im so worried about the lack of updates and hoping she is safe🙏🙏🙏
Those thistles are edible, but I'm certainly not suffrage you let them spread. I believe they're in the same family as Artichoke, and are used to make milk thistle.
Could you build swells to block that water flow?

Well Kay, the only thing you can do abt Water that makes any sense is to dig Swails. God just didn't make perfectly level plots to grow on. Blessings.
Don't go out on your 4 wheeler in all the water! I would be afraid it would not be safe with your trees and with all the water.
Are you ok?
Oh my goodness Kaye!!!!!! How long has it been raining?
I thought you were putting plants on the porch
Hello ,I think kaye did put brought some up onto the porch, and probably pulled thrm in also because it was so rough.😊
Weather warfare is blocking planting for food growing.
Why store food?
Why not leave the trenches for the next storm and plant where the destruction doesn't happen?
Real heavy rains at late, sorry about garden bed🥲
Have you sorted that leak in your water storage?
