How I play this is: load up a lot of pearls and play slow. Once Pearl party is one away from starting, I load up a lot more. Activate Pearl party, then spam the living shit out of the button and adding pearls. This overwhelms the game (because at my arcade the party amount is 20 pearls per Pearl bucket during party time) with small pearls and big pearls, so that after party time the pearls keep going and I get thousands of tickets per Pearl party. The super bonus at mine also adds some amount per swipe, so it’s usually massive because of the casuals.
Interesting! Yeah the way the machine explains absolutely none of the mechanics is mystifying so I can assume the casuals are just at a loss as to how to work the machine. I’ll definitely give this a try though and report back
Not sure if this is everywhere or not, but the Pearl Fishery we have at the arcade I work at was a very early copy of the game. All of the big pearls are 1 star Dragonballs, which I think is very fun. Also, the keys we have for it look like little cats. I think it’s fun.
You should do a video comparing the viability of different arcades for prize winning. A USD to viable ticket earnings to prize cost in USD comparison between arcades would be interesting to see, and it fits with your videos so far.
Love your videos man! I just binged watch all of them. Favorite is still the centipede. Would love to see a baseball theme video where you cover games like grand slam and the ones where you have to time the swings for the buckets and get to a specific amount of runs (there is also a spongbob soccer swinging game that kind of have the same concept)
This game is my ticket maker at my arcade. You’re right about the strategy of looking for a good bored before starting to play and you should always be aim for more pears for party time. You make more tickets consistently by sending as many of the large pears to the wheel as you can.
Was thinking about you again since I'm going to an arcade soon and haven't seen you in a while. I played Pearl Fishery a few months ago and it was actually a solid ticket winner - worse than the Spongebob pusher the arcade had, but a solid second option when that wasn't available/broken. Once I got a bit better at it, and if the board was chonked with big pearls, you could get a lot of tickets off it!
Probably a highly requested pusher, but I would love to see you cover Marble Carnival! It's easily my favorite machine and I've spent more than I like to admit playing it
There is some strategy I think. left side has more pearl slots. right is more ticket slots. There is randomness, but i think you can kinda build the ideal field and then go for a pearl ticket time. Definitely a high swipe game tho.
Avengers coin pusher implements balls into a coin pusher so nicely, but the king of marble pushers is Marble Carnival, or now known as Castlevania Marble of Souls
Another suggestion that I've seen in almost every arcade. The one with the clowns that you have to throw a ball at to knock over each one. I think some of them have a light on them for bonus points too? Another clown game is the one where you throw a ball to knock out it's teeth. Edit: "Big Mouth 2000" is the teeth one, "Down the Clown Redemption Game" is the fuzzy clown one :)
Hey Capybarski! Awesome to catch your new upload early on, really been enjoying your content idk if you have socials but I wasn't trying to be creepy or anything when I identified the arcade in one of the videos I just go there occasionally with my girlfriend but I bumped into one of the guys there that knows you and explained the situation a bit better so no worries just a fan is all i am ^^
I don't know about you, but every time I see this machine at my local arcades, the lighting and the quality of the "pearls" look so old, that they are never played. Presentation is everything for people, and for whatever reason, this one always appear dim and dirty.
@smx comment/description: hey, the fun factor of a game should be considered. arcades aren't just there for you to farm tickets for the prize counter. if doing videos exclusively just on ticket/redemption games are starting to be demotivating, consider just reviewing random games you find fun. rhythm, pinball, retro, fighting, light guns, whatever you enjoy playing when you go into the arcade. when im at an arcade nowadays redemption is second to games where you just play without any reward attached. would love to hear what you find fun and what keeps you going to arcades.
Seems the comments that suggested Pearl Fishery are lucky and have the values set high in their machines (perhaps, critically, the pearl to credit ratio) even with virtually unlimited credits at my Chuck E. Cheese, the values were set too low and my time could be better spent elsewhere. I will try to snipe it with some of these mechanics better understood now but even so, it seems there’s better games (It also may be I didn’t properly utilize the pearl party so I’ll have to report back)
My new go to for tickets is the Golden Railroad coin pusher. I think I loaded maybe 20 or so swipes and must've gotten like 5,000 tickets (Round 1 tickets). You're not guaranteed to land on the spot you want when you get a ball roulette, but it's like 85% likely. I think I got 3 full sweeps on the treasure round. Though despite getting like, 60 cards, I think I only got one full set.
This game can be very different depending on the owner. I liked this game at my local arcade but when I played it down in Atlantic City, it was significantly hard to get tickets, extra pearls, and spin the wheel. And I got one Pearl per game. Very unhappy.
I remember a few months after this machine showed up at IAAPA one of our local arcades got it in and they had the payouts set unsustainably high for its cost (It was like 30 cents a play) and it WRECKED the economy of said arcade. (This was shortly before this arcade switched to digital tickets) I saw about 7-8 people with ticket stacks the size of cinderblocks. Sadly that arcade has gone downhill after it got bought out. Like I mean downhill to the point of A singular ball in each monster drop machine (Took 2 hours to clear a 17 bonus ball pile up on MDE) along with really overpriced machines. Kinda unrelated but PLEASE do dizzy chicken its one of my go to games for tickets.
Its a fun game but its not good for tickets. Every place has basically made the bonus so low so theres not any point for playing for tickets. When the game first came out or you can find a Pearl Machine with a 500+ bonus depending on price
5:50 absolutely - using balls instead of coins is great since they won't get stacked up. Something near the edge is legitimately near the edge.

heh I did this at my local arcade. They nerfed the heck out of the machine after my visit 😅😅
@@csskiller Yeah this strategy is probably why the one Capy has is set really low too. If you know how to exploit it then you could do a lot

I got unbelievably distracted in the best possible way when the gen III diving music started playing
I'm gonna argue that coin pusher bottlenecks are what make them so addictive... I mean fun...
I plan to interject “it’s Event Time” at every party I go to, which may decrease the invites I get

It's always a good day when Capybarski drops
you definitely should take a look at the ticket claw machines, i definitely want to see those.
you are everything I ever wanted in a youtube channel

Nice to see a new video from you! Love seeing it
This is one of the most underrated channels

love a unique pusher, great video! marble carnival is a favorite of mine, it has a similar gimmick to this one but has a card set to collect with it
i'd love to see you cover some of the complex and over the top japanese coin pushers
Just found your channel, and loving the explanations!
Reunited and it feels so good
I need you to cover the Spider-Man coin shooter/pusher game. It's my absolute favorite coin pusher out there!
You can get lucky by having a white pearl reach the wheel, it will count it as a win so that's nice. Usually happens when spamming pearls.
Nice to see a new upload on this channel

Would love it if you covered the one where you throw balls to get 4 in a row. Its pirate themed at my arcade. Nice video!

nicee. been waiting on a vid about pearl fishery
I don't know about you, but every time I see this machine at my local arcades, the lighting and the quality of the "pearls" look so old, that they are never played. Presentation is everything for people, and for whatever reason, this one always appear dim and dirty.
i'm so mad, my arcade literally got rid of their copies of pearl fishery *right* before your video came out! it looks a lot more fun than i realized!
Would be curious to see how you feel about Axe Master, have had one pop up at my local Dave n Busters, not sure how I feel about it myself tbh
Awesome. never seen a - "pearl pusher" before.
please do baseball pro next!
Yoo I got addicted to this one at an arcade once
APing in a kiddie casino is crazy
this game is edging incarcerated
if i had this arcade game at home, i'd modify it so that the button's activated via a donation in a live stream

I got an ad for a company that sells real pearls on this video lmao

I FUCKING LOVE PEARL FISHERY ❤❤❤❤❤❤
smx spotted!!
no hand games nearby tho haha
Arcade Suggestion : PLINKO PLINKO PLINKO
from the fishbowl frenzy plinko drop to the gum drop plinko drop to, wait, they made PLINKO?!?
Let's go gambling!
Can you take a look at Whack’n win the hammer arcade because it is a common game in general arcades.
This game can be very different depending on the owner. I liked this game at my local arcade but when I played it down in Atlantic City, it was significantly hard to get tickets, extra pearls, and spin the wheel. And I got one Pearl per game. Very unhappy.
Its so weird seeing arcades add what is almost just Pachislots to arcades.... but they are fun
You should do Barrel Of Monkeys next! :D
💎🐠😎

gold railroad please do it
Lets go gambling!
A video I like you to look at is Baseball Pro Arcade. I feel like you can get good at it.
Look at lighthouse and drop zone
Its a fun game but its not good for tickets. Every place has basically made the bonus so low so theres not any point for playing for tickets. When the game first came out or you can find a Pearl Machine with a 500+ bonus depending on price
Some of my local arcades have these reskinned, and some even use "Dragonballs" - I never play them. They feel stingy for sure.
Do monopoly redemption then deal or no deal
:D
1 Pearl per drop makes the game not worth playing at all where i am
