There's also a new version of Rampage with three players that gives tickets. We also found one really low res version of Space Invaders with two players at a Chuck E Cheese (its got a giant LED panel instead of a screen...) Also I've seen a four player version of Pac-Man in Japan that probably can do tickets if they have it in the US.
I found myself seriously making mental notes of the tips to beat this game I'll likely never get a chance to play. And that's a compliment to how well made this video is. Good job.
My arcade HAD this (got rid of it) And it was consistently on 1000 tickets on medium difficulty I'd assume. Knew people who would absolutely farm it to death. Sadly the only versions by me that exist on this now are the amusement mode ones.
Absolutely brilliant work commenting here to help your algorithm and to just say your content is criminally under scene I appreciate you and I hope you have a good time hunting down more arcade machines looking forward to seeing more of this stuff.
we have been playing this one every time we hit up the Chuck E Cheese to use our summer play pass. Sometimes you get lucky and a kid has swiped multiple times and left them unredeemed. I went back once w/o the kids to use up some credits and I noticed its much much easier as one player, as mentioned in the video. But I still can't beat the Mega Spider...
There's a bunch of games with this carnival/ringmaster mascot, most notably those 'Down the Clown' and 'Milk Jug Toss' ones, but I'm certain there are more out there.
A lot of games made by I.C.E. will have this mascot, not sure what his deal is but that's the company he's associated with. The Playdium I work at had quite a few I.C.E. machines with the mascot
You know what would kick ass? Adapting some of the modern roguelikes into arcade games. I can just imagine a streamlined Binding of Isaac or Enter the Gungeon, where instead of the map it was a Slay the Spire style path, being really fun to play. Hell, take any non-turn based game like DOOM, Dark Souls, or Don't Starve, , slap on a horde/survival mode, and it's perfect for arcades like this.
Closest thing I could think of for arcade rogue-likes would be the Gauntlet franchise. But yeah the genre is grossly underrepresented in the modern "arcade" scene. I'd be both excited and horrified to see how a modern rogue-like gets adapted into a ticket redemption arcade xD
So in depth! Thanks for all the information. I hope to find Centipede Chaos at an arcade hall soon, cause this'll be a big help. Any chance you've got Kahuna's Big Wave over there? I've found it to be a pretty consistent jackpot redemption game, if a bit boring to farm. Space Warp is probably my favourite with fun gameplay and a skill-based jackpot.
This game looks amazing. I know what I'm looking for next time I'm at an arcade. Absolutely love ur channel. I been binging ur vids. Keep up the awesome work!
Super into the longer, more in-depth format! Been binging your vids and the quality and insight is pretty consistently good! It’d be interesting to see you tackle a rhythm game (personal favorites are DDR and Dancerush Stardom), or a racing game like Crusin Blast or Initial D. My arcade trips tend to not be so ticket centric
This title is actually pretty cool for what I see interms of modern arcade games around me, my one friend has gotten insanley good at this title to where he can easily rack of 2000 tickets in a half hour from repeat playthroughs
a redemption game… that’s actually… a GAME? (x ray comes in showing a brain tumor marked “redemption arcades” which promptly explodes in a cheesy effect) “HALLELUJAH!”
This game actually sounds really fun, I'll probably never find a machine of it since arcade games seem to be reigonal but I'll definitely play it if i see one. Your video was cool dude!
Baseball pro is an interesting one. It is skill. I find the smaller one to be easier. The slots are smaller but the number of runs needed is lower and the time it takes to get 16 runs is frustrating for me
I'm not sure if your arcade has it but will you do ones where you need to spam the button to win at a given game? I remember playing a game where I needed to lasso a horse with variable amount of tickets attached to them and then needing to spam one button to win
I mean, there's always option c for how dynamic difficulty works: It's broken and doesn't work. Wouldn't be the first game I've heard of where the dynamic difficulty was coded wrong and doesn't work. I'm usually not a fan of redemption games (doesn't help that all the arcades I know have absolute garbage prizes) other than Skee-ball, but this one actually does look fun.
so I've been farming this game for 2 years and the dynamic setting is definitely by the amount of jackpot the game is giving out. Also if you do too much damage to spider from phase 2 to phase 3 it sometimes goes diagonally.
Also learning spawn patterns will drastically increase your chance of survival for stage 4,5 and 7,8 example most maps have 2 spawn and item power up pattern Half circle Mushrooms if you see 2 flees on each side of each centipede you will get a shock to your right if there's no flee it will spawn a bomb and scatter on the left side if the mushrooms are in a V Pattern If the v is connected it'll spawn a shock to the right v not connected will be beam to the right if the mushroom is like arrows going up it'll away spawn a scatter in the middle If its a box the spawn will depend if the centipede starts at the top or middle middle means bomb to the left top means beam to the right and shock to the left afterwards and with enough practice you'll learn the spawns of each enemy and when the power up will spawn
would you ever consider taking a trip to asia or europe to review the games offered in those regions? praying your channel blows up so this becomes a monatizable, tax-deductable reality for my king.
14:41 Big bass wheel isn't that bad. Sure, it's obviously luck but at least it gives you more tickets than spin and win. I actually got the 500 ticket jackpot in big bass wheel in dave and busters before i could even get the jackpot in spin and win.
Giant tropical centipedes share their territories with tarantulas. Despite its impressive length, it’s a nimble navigator, and some can be highly venomous As quick as lightning, just like the tarantula it’s killing. The centipede has two curved, hollow fangs, which inject paralyzing venom Even tarantulas aren't immune from an ambush The centipede is a predator
Just hope your arcade actually maintains their machines. I tried playing on this a few months ago and all three sticks were absolutely destroyed, with the down switches in particular needing so much force to maybe engage half the time. File that one under skill issues I suppose.
I was wondering what the song playing on the backround eile you explain the premise and gameplay of the yame in the beginning is. Its very quiet. Ive been looking for it forever.
I believe that one is Bonus Stage (Targets/Board the Platform) from Smash 64. Every vide I post has music used in the citation section, and I try my best make sure they're listed in the order they appear initially xD
I farmed the shit out of this game at the arcade I frequent, so much so that I am convinced the recent difficulty buff is my fault. I don't know what they set it to but the centipedes are much faster and longer now and the earlier waves are definitely more difficult. Making matters even worse, they replaced the screen from being cracked by skeeballs with a new, input laggy one, so I can't 1cc it consistently anymore. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm still absolutely going to milk 2ccs out of it. :3
Society would be so advanced if Centipede Chaos had scorpions
even more advanced if it had a trackball
@DJRhythbut this game was by ICE entertainment
I find it very funny that one of the only actually fun modern arcade games is a very old arcade game that now also gives you tickets
and it has triple player
There's also a new version of Rampage with three players that gives tickets. We also found one really low res version of Space Invaders with two players at a Chuck E Cheese (its got a giant LED panel instead of a screen...)

That Zombie Snatcher machine at 13:09 is where I got my first jackpot on the game. Thank you for bringing back some good memories.

gungeon has a lightgun game
Arcade Gungeon actually sounds like an amazing idea

Finally made it to one of your never videos.
Watched all your vids in one day, cuz it's exactly what I've wanted to make videos about.
This game looks amazing. I know what I'm looking for next time I'm at an arcade.
Absolutely love ur channel. I been binging ur vids. Keep up the awesome work!
Another top tier video! How about comparing the different skee balls? Ice ball vs lightning vs baytek(green) vs the new black and red, etc?
is that persona 2 music? very cool
Also, if I could add, I'll be posting a video on my channel, and in the description, i'll be adding every bug i've found
Been binging all your videos, great job keep up the good work

I love the edit every time you say the word "flee" 😂
Great video!
[as I’m watching] This is easy… I play Touhou for godsake… [11:39] … Ah, I guess I just got read like a book.
super in depth! I usually pass this one by, but you’ve made such a good case for it that I’ll have to check it out next time.
a redemption game… that’s actually… a GAME?
(x ray comes in showing a brain tumor marked “redemption arcades” which promptly explodes in a cheesy effect)
“HALLELUJAH!”
Commenting to boost the algorithm! This video was awesome.
Honestly I’d love if you covered Galaga, it’s one of my all time favorite arcade games
11:38 what touhou fangame is that?
I believe that was Taisei Project, I think any bullet hell would have worked there but it was footage I pulled from Creative Commons for that point
This game actually sounds really fun, I'll probably never find a machine of it since arcade games seem to be reigonal but I'll definitely play it if i see one. Your video was cool dude!
Just came across your channel today and I absolutely love your videos!! Such quality content. Keep up the amazing work, man.
I greatly enjoy your videos and would love to see if you have anything to say about DDR or the similar dance game “In The Groove”
Baseball pro is an interesting one. It is skill. I find the smaller one to be easier. The slots are smaller but the number of runs needed is lower and the time it takes to get 16 runs is frustrating for me
Some of these games look.... familiar....
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the recent Spider-Man coin pusher. I have been playing that one a lot lately
I keep seeing that Transformers game in the wide shots you do and I wanna see it lol
Sadly I have never come across one of these. Gives off vibes of okd arcade games that actually were fun.
Please do harpoon lagoon! My dad and I grinded this game back in 2018 daily and it’s crazy good if you just get the sharks :D
Amusement mode with three players is really fun
One time i got spawn killed by a spider in wave 7 😂
I'm not sure if your arcade has it but will you do ones where you need to spam the button to win at a given game?
I remember playing a game where I needed to lasso a horse with variable amount of tickets attached to them and then needing to spam one button to win
Love your analysis! You've earned a sub from me. Does your D&B have that "modern" Galaga redemption game? I'm curious how that one compares.
This sounds very fun!

Half circle Mushrooms if you see 2 flees on each side of each centipede you will get a shock to your right
if there's no flee it will spawn a bomb and scatter on the left side
if the mushrooms are in a V Pattern
If the v is connected it'll spawn a shock to the right
v not connected will be beam to the right
if the mushroom is like arrows going up it'll away spawn a scatter in the middle
If its a box the spawn will depend if the centipede starts at the top or middle
middle means bomb to the left
top means beam to the right and shock to the left afterwards
and with enough practice you'll learn the spawns of each enemy and when the power up will spawn
We’ve now evolved to a point of imagining the music reference to avoid copyright claims
MY HAS HAS ONE DOENSTAIRS!!!!
Great video series and fun videos. Besides watching all of your videos, is there a way to see what games are in the tier lists?
Can you review the Skee-Ball game? I hit jackpots at least 7 times on this.
It's way better than Majora's Mask.
would you ever consider taking a trip to asia or europe to review the games offered in those regions? praying your channel blows up so this becomes a monatizable, tax-deductable reality for my king.
100% I'd want to try and make that happen, I've never been to an arcade outside of North America. No promises on any timelines tho Dx
I fine it really cute they name level ten as Wave X given that X is the Roman numeral for ten 🥰 so yeah it’s still technically called Wave Ten
{Rei} Rei likes 2DSTG! It’s a littles outside her usuals style, but it looks reallies goods! >n.n
14:41 Big bass wheel isn't that bad. Sure, it's obviously luck but at least it gives you more tickets than spin and win. I actually got the 500 ticket jackpot in big bass wheel in dave and busters before i could even get the jackpot in spin and win.
I got a 100.....

I'd like to see you cover Pink Panther Jewel Heist. I swear that game was rigged.
If U ever find them, DRAGON'S LAIR and 6 PLAYERS X MEN ARCADE would be great 2 see!
I was wondering what the song playing on the backround eile you explain the premise and gameplay of the yame in the beginning is. Its very quiet. Ive been looking for it forever.

@@Capybarski thanks! Nice vid BTW. I don't have any arcades in town. It's interesting to see what units they have nowadays.
Please play Spider Stompin Deluxe, S tier game, best ever made.

didn't even fall for the pronouncing touhou gambit
Too easy
i play touhou
