Sorry for the delay in posting this mini episode. Look forward to the full episode, dropping Wednesday 🎤💛🇰🇷
Okay thank you !! 🩵🫶🏽
Addressing comments made at 2:55 ish! One of my student made references twice about kids in the continent of Africa do not have food to eat AND that they eat with their hands!🥺 MY LESSON PLAN WENT THROUGH THE WINDOW!I showed videos of different cultures eating with hands, for those don’t have hands, eating with their feet & that there’s economically challenges across the globe etc….! Note, she is a picker eater, so that was the parents best reference to make her want to eat!😢 One would think that talking about the nutrients and it’s benefits would be a more reasonable conversation to have 😊better yet, make references that are certain. The parents are migrants from a rather challenging economy, meaning there are many who suffer hunger, hence one of the reasons to migrate. Needless to say that this particular school district gets aid to help out students who may have struggling parents who may not be able to afford breakfast & lunch! It’s the way misinformation gets tossed around about one particular CONTINENT, but fail to talk about a WORLDWIDE problem. I recently watched a documentary about Korean kids of migrant parentage, and the suffering these kids go through because their parents are seeking a better life. They get mistreated to say the least in the country they were born! The world needs to do a better job at fixing issues and seize pointing at a whole continent when they, themselves are down on their problems! Korea has a low birth issue, they might want to issue birth certificates and educate these kids, instead of parading the stereotypical BS of colonizers! Yeah we’re definitely tired of “teaching” the ignorance of grown up!” Not our job to do! Google is too free for ignorance!
Korea is not a multicultural country with a long history of immigration unlike the United States or some European countries. The foreign population was 1.1% of the total population in 2006, about 1 million 10 years ago and now 2.5 million(4.9% of the total population). Most of them are from Asian countries and Westerners are less than 0.5% of the population(Black people are less than 0.05%) So when they see a westerner they're not used to it so they still tend to think it's amazed or different from them. That's why they stare at Westerners a lot. Korea is still in its early stages of multiculturalism and the locals need time to adapt to foreigners. As the number of foreigners increases, laws and culture will gradually improve to become more foreigner-friendly. It takes time so it will be difficult for people who lack patience to live there. People don't realize how few Westerners there are in Korea. Let me show the government statistics below.

This includes not only residents but also visitors. South Korea has a population of 51 million, with about 2.5 million foreigners (4.9% of the total population) but more than about 80% are from other Asian countries. It is a homogeneous country with only less than 0.5% Westerners and less than 0.05% black people.
Looking forward to the rest of this episode! Again, another riveting listen. Sad topic in so many ways, and yet happy to see you both laugh and address it so eloquently. Thank you to you both, guys, for the facts and experiences you shared, even though, as you well said, it is not your job or obligation to educate anyone or explain anything.
Thank you for your experiences ❤. -I remember such racist comments from my own Korean father when I was a child. It really pains me to hear that the sentiments are largely unchanged.
your father is actually right.. Human beings are tribal by nature. The Jewish people live within their own people and culture. Native Americans live within their own people and culture so their values and way of life should be respected. If a group of people wants to live this way it's absolutely normal and natural
Korean is the best no1 racist in the world 🌎
How do Chinese use TH-cam?
@@volcanosg4562 Chinese love digging white people utube money 💰🤑
China literally ethnically cleanse multiple peoples and cultures, equivalent to nazi ghettos and concentration camps, this includes native Koreans in Manchuria also getting ethnically cleansed. Even the most racist Korean is not comparison worthy to an average Chinese.
Better not come No.1 racist country😊Please
Human beings have No moral obligation or requirement to accept everyone that comes their way
They can at least stay out of the other people's faces...it's not that hard to ignore someone you dont like..
Fair enough, but that is an unfortunate, shortsighted and even self-destructive attitude, as it has been long established that migration is the human condition… Better be prepared for the unstoppable and accept the “other”, as that will be the only way to avoid extinction, particularly in countries that refuse to reproduce…
It is no coincidence that, even ancient cultures that used foreigners as slaves, also had a contradictory culture of hospitality to foreigners. Accepting “those who come your way” is embedded in the fabric of society.
@@glocar243 Migration and mixing is actually very new to humanity. It's self destructive to constantly be mixing because "extinction" happens to a race of people who refuse to procreate within their own people. its actually self destructive to keeps mixing because you keep diluting your race over and over until the race you original were disappears.
@@glocar243 what your saying is not backed up by science or even human history and everything that I said Science and human history supports it
@@prudencepatricia8269We who decide to stick within our own people, we mind our own business, we respect everyone and we don't bother anyone but people like you are rude. Facts are still facts even if you don't like it. YOU are the ones who keep "getting in our faces" and forcing your multiculturalism down our throats. Just leave us alone (and no I'm not Korean)
