Alot of these ranch/farm homesteading channels try to create problems that they fix during the video not here it's just mundane ranch work that we don't mind watching
As a carpenter with over 35 years experience I can confirm that supporting the work piece with your foot whilst using the mitre saw is indeed Professional Level. 🙂
We truly empathize with and appreciate your understated introspection, "... I am amazed at how many preparations need to be made." We have our own small-scale cattle operation. Its very relatable to watch you and Hilarie work through projects and chores that are conceptually simple but often require Apollo 13 creative engineering to execute. No regrets. We would not have it any other way. Its one of the endearing qualities we love about the lifestyle and bet you do too. Best to you and your entire family.
Gotta love those cows! Never saw a pig move as fast as that one did when she got shocked. LOL. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! My favorite too Pete.
Pete, I really enjoyed this video. I love the part where about the P was giving you a hard time by moving the hotline fence . Your explanation, of how things work. You make it very plain, and I like the fact that you take it as a ride in a humorous way. I hope that you have a wonderful holiday and get plenty of rest. Tell Hillary hello thank you for taking us on this farm journey. I look forward to our adventure.
Great job well done Pete and Hillary! Hard work paid off. Love how you call the cows and they come! Makes me smile and laugh every time! Happy Thanksgiving! Know that you gave a lot of your customers great grown turkies. Yes I meant to spell it that way. Appreciate so much your videos and the work that goes in them.
Im one of those "fans" that watches for the animals and for the "going-ons";of farm life, but the tractor refurbishing had me in a meditative state as I watched and listened while I did my work. You have a good thing here.non your channel. Keep it up.
The cattle seemed to take right to their new surroundings. Had to laugh at the hog with the hot wire...makes them jump in a hurry. You and Hillary make a good team. Pretty well read out each other's next move without having to discuss every little item.
Hey Pete, there is another way of using those click wheel tensioners. There is a hole in the end where the flat steel folds so push the strait wire through and keep going through the hole in the click wheel and leave it where you want it. After you have the wire where you want it go tighten the click wheel . so you don't need to cut the wire and tie it off. This way you get a better flow of current. Cheers Jim in New Zealand
Thanks so much for sharing your videos. I love seeing you use the old IH's. Iam originally from up state NY moved to AZ when I was 7 and went back to up state NY every summer and spent time with my grandparents on Canandaigua lake. I learned how to drive on their old IH Cub and a Case Vai. So many great memories and I smile everytime you start up and drive your IH's. When my grandfather passed we went back and got the Case and hauled it back to AZ. We have an excavation company out here with lots of modern excavators and bobcats, but there is nothing like the old IH Cub and Case I have. Thanks again for sharing your videos. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Hurray! I delayed my own chores here to watch the "Grand Opening". I know the excitement of a new barn, both for people and critters. Congrats on getting through the process-
I just love this channel. I never expected that daily farmlife and farm projects would interest me this much. Right now this channel is one of my escapes. Entertainment, tranquility, and interesting technical tidbits are things I get here. I used to love spending time outdoors. Whether it was wandering a farm, hiking the woods looking for fishing spots or a bike ride through the park; I miss it all. I've been in the hospital for around six months due to complications with my heart and lungs from a go around with COVID virus a couple of years ago. Right now I'm in the hospital teathered to an oxygen source. Life can get boring and the scenery gets old. This channel and a few others help me through it. Hopefully I will get better and resume a more normal life at some point. Keep up the great content and my best to you and your family!
That long project came together nicely. What did they say at the end of the 80's TV show, The A Team, "I love it when a plan comes together"? Something like that.
Humor: The postman was having problems with a dog each time he passed this one house. The dog was always sitting on the porch seemingly waiting and wrun at him barking. Then on one piticular day, as he passed the dog house, the dog was not there. Highly curious, he back stepped and walked up to the door and knocked. A lady answered and asked "Yes may I help you?". The postman looked arpound once more then stated "Hows your dog?" and the lady responded :"Yes I did".
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, blessings 🙌 🙏 ❤️ ✨️ to you all. You both did it, until next year. Take it easy, rest. Thank you for all knowledge and wisdom !! ❤🎉😊
Thanks for the nice long episode, Pete and Hill. I enjoy seeing the animals especially. I think I love the peace of the farm and just the way you get on with things. Happy Thanksgiving from England 🇬🇧 ❤
Good morning Pete, Hilary and family. Love the Dexters and their language. Took our livestock out in the 29 degree temp this morning. Of course our livestock is a 18 pound Yorkie/Beagle mix. Thanksgiving our favorite holiday too. I imagine Thanksgiving at your house with the vistas of your fields and tree lines has a Norman Rockwell character. We wish you, Hilary and family the very best of Thanksgivings! Michael & Rosemarie, Norwalk Ct. 🦃
Once again you've filled my need...need for farming. I have chickens and a couple horses...I wish I had cattle. Watching your channel makes me happy. Thank you so much for keeping on with your videos. I look forward to each one! Thanks again...
Thanks for a great video Pete & Hilarie. I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving. It is also my favorite holiday. I am thankful for a wonderful wife who cooks a mean Turkey.
Hey Pete, wow, water, electric and hay readily available. Pretty soon the cows will start thinking of you as "that rich farmer" instead of "that crazy architect farmer"😅 Thanks for the great videos of real farm life!
My birthday is tomorrow and this video brought a smile to my face. I hope you and your family have an amazing thanksgiving and thank you for giving us these amazing videos.
One thing I appreciate about this channel is the lack of drama. Just utility. Made by adults, for adults.
My 7 year old grandson loves watching Pete and Hilary! Otherwise, you are right on!! 😊
I am from the Netherlands, its good for my English. I even understand his dad Jokes ( mostly)
Alot of these ranch/farm homesteading channels try to create problems that they fix during the video not here it's just mundane ranch work that we don't mind watching
I am to from the Netherlands and for me is it also good for my English and it’s
fun to look ❤
Yes, the only thing we suffer from here is the occasional groaner Pete gives us. And we all laugh at them too, every one of them. Blessings 😊
As a carpenter with over 35 years experience I can confirm that supporting the work piece with your foot whilst using the mitre saw is indeed Professional Level. 🙂
Pilot holes for every occasion! Pete's a good carpenter. And a great Farmall mechanic. This from a 40 yr carpenter as well.
Both me and my wife love your channel, we never miss an episode! HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!😊

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL OF YOU ! Thank you for sharing your life with us !
Really nice video! Like the way the two of you just "git 'er done"! Nice new barn arrangement for the cows.
Nice move for all involved, less work more convent, just makes sense on just a few acres. Good day from Phoenix AZ.
I was looking forward to this and so were you I bet.
I love his videos, brings back memories of my days on the farm. Keep up the good work. Plus he has the right tractors. 😊👍👏
You are very fortunate to have a wife who is willing to work with you.
I love the weather reports.
The cattle seemed to take right to their new surroundings. Had to laugh at the hog with the hot wire...makes them jump in a hurry. You and Hillary make a good team. Pretty well read out each other's next move without having to discuss every little item.
You're barely going to have a chance to get the tractor warmed up now! I like the new setup. It's going to make winter a little easier to handle. 👍
HAPPY THANKGIVING to you and yours
Thanks for the video, always enjoy watching!
Great job and video mate as I always say hope you and your family are doing well and your friends too.
Your videos show the romance of owning a small farm on Just A Few Acres is not so romantic but a lot of hard work, You all are amazing .
Hi pete, i really enjoy watching your videos. From animals to tractor repairs, i am really stuck on your channel. Cheers form Italy
Happy Thanksgiving Pete to you and your Family.
In a world gone mad thank you Pete and Hilary for today’s 27:44 of decency, sanity and honesty.

I've never had to affix wood to metal like that, learned something today, thanks mate.

Heh, heh! "Titus, you grumpy old man!"
My wife and I LOVE hearing the cows banter. Keep it up Pete!
Yet another great video! Thanks for sharing your story!!

And a happy happy to you and yours 😊😊😊
I’m glad I found Pete. Stumbled upon him and followed and applied his principles to my life!Love the channel!
Titus was yelling out on Latin Moo. With a lot of mooing and pooping the herd was moved. Looks good with the nicer digs for the winter.
😂not us here laughing our butts off because you were zapped! Be careful out there Pete!😊
Bro got shocked and said “I feel much better”😂😂😂
That long project came together nicely. What did they say at the end of the 80's TV show, The A Team, "I love it when a plan comes together"? Something like that.
🐮🐮 Funny how the cows remember the old barn and don't like change. 🐮🐮
