My favorite lactonic scent right now is probably Commodity Milk and most sandalwoods. Gris Charnel is so creamy for me, too. So cozy and warm hug ISH. 😊
Gris Charnal was initially on my list. But I had too many actual Lactonic frags on my list. Plus it gets talked about a lot.

I am interested in trying Palo Santo after hearing you describe it. I bought Tardes recently as my first fragrance from the house and that fragrance is one I definitely have to be in the mood for. It's not as easy wearing on me as I thought it would be.
Good idea to try Cruz del Sur 2 in winter. I had not thought about doing that. I purchased it this spring and I think I am one of those people that it just doesn't do magic on. It turns me off a bit the same way Oud Orange Intense does - which was another blind buy that I never suspected that I would not love.

I wore Cruz Del Sur during cooler weather and was surprised that I liked it better! Nutmeg and iris sounds good, I have Cherry Punk by Room 1015 will get a sample of Electric Wood. Xerjoff's Allende , FDB Santal Complet, Amouage's Love Tuberose are my favorite lactonic fragrances.Nice picks!

Turned sour on me;( … I have Gris Charnel and I hate the smell on me, but; every time I wear it, I get comments on how awesome I smell! Lol! I just recently wore the Bum Dia and the 40 Spray mist and that was a winner!!! Great video!!!

I bought Sintra after sampling it four times and yes it’s very cozy and fluffy once you get past that green petigrain note😍😍. I have sampled Blanche Bete and Velvet Tonka and they are both on my 2023 wishlist😍😍. I have just received my Jovoy UK samples and Piano Santal is one of them but I haven’t tried it yet😉😉. I still need to sample Italica also have Mirabile on my wishlist and unfortunately the latter will be a blind buy🤔🤔. If I can get these I’ll be extremely happy😂😂.

Shooting Stars is a collection, not a perfume. Sounds like you might be referencing Starlight. I think t's a. beautiful amber, almond, cardamom fall/winter scent
My current faves are from Commodity( Expressive Milk, Gold & Velvet) I layer them with BWW Sweet Whiskey and Fireside Flurries. Smells so yummy & comforting.

My ultimate laconic fragrance is Jovoy Remember Me. I hears Demi recommend it about two years ago and to date, it is one of my top fragrances that has been recommended to me because I never would have discovered it on my own.

Recently received a free sample of Mastermind by Oligarque Paris. It’s a gorgeous lactonic scent. The opening is just divine! Apparently, the house only offers 2 fragrances. Mastermind is the one that leans more feminine.

Since you mention Palo Santo, I was wondering if you knew D600? It's so gorgeous and lasts very long (I had to wash it off this morning from the backs of my wrists where perfume sticks way better for me). Anyway is a shame to me it never gets any love.. I will try to try PS s as well.
Lastly Remember Me is a nice chai fragrance.. maybe I will wear it to bed..

Happy Advent! 🕯😊 I'm getting into lactonic fragrances. I loved the mild milky quality in Feve Delicieuse. I just sampled the very milky Blanche Bete and that was a disappointment. I thought it smelled like a hair product. Need to try more milky/creamy ones!🥛😁
Mind you, this is in cold British weather. I'm going to try my Blanche Bete decant again in the warm Spring! 😉🌷🌳

i tried a sample today of Piano Santal today and on the paper strip it was so sweet and on my skin in the beginning its a bit sweet milky and creamy but the sandalwood starts smelling a bit like cleaning supplies pledge for wood with milk or the spray i use for removing dog pee when my girl was a puppy or the spray for the granite coffee table but still has this nice sweetness all the way through. does this mean it is going bad on me or it smells that way also on you and others? have you heard this about Piano Santal? i want it to work but i dont if it is bad or not
I'm wearing Velvet Tonka today and I'm not really getting a lactonic odor one me, but it smells really almondy on me, with an opening of strong tobacco, and it ends up being a micture of almond extract plus tobacco. I don't love it, but I like it OK. My husband says it reminds him of antesceptic wiipes, so he doesn't love it on me. I prefer Elie Saab essence no. 10 Amande Tonka for my creamy tonka almond. Another lactonic one I love for cool weather is V Canto Mirabile.

To me Cheroisa 40 smells just like Dama Bianca. I was thinking to actually buy that to check off that scent profile, when I’m finished with my DB.

I have all of the Lancomes so I never bought the Dapper. I actually decluttered Oud Bouquet because I prefer Xerjoff More Than Words.

When you discuss purchasing Bath and Bodyworks creams, I find it to be really surprising because some of your fragrances are $1000+ for a bottle. Do you find that the creams change the scent and the special nuances in your luxury fragrances like your Rojas, Xerjoffs, FDB, etc,? I know you have some high end creams as well. I have a few, such as MFK creams/oils, Dior Privee creams, Delina, etc. but would be afraid to buy a drugstore level cream to wear with my really fine fragrances. I would be more inclined to wear a plain cream, but I am not an officianado, which is why I am asking you.
It depends. I keep an unscented lotion on my vanity too if I want full focus on my perfume. But no, it doesn’t ruin my fine fragrances.

I think the music is slightly distracting to me. Maybe if you just set it a little quieter that would be better. Love the content as usual but figured I’d give feedback since the music seems new.
I’ve had music for awhile now, but it’s usually lower. I was having issues in editing and it wouldn’t let me change it.
Soprano is my favorite Xerjoff fragrance. I would pay full price for it. Which is very rare for me… and I think most of us would avoid paying full price for these expensive niche fragrances.
