    I really became aware of insecurity,need to cry,my body jolts up the shoulders or jolts....do you know what i'm talking about? My body is very new for me....as I'm getting si (rolfing) done....also a strong force that moves on it's own ty...interesting.... is there a book you recommend? Kay la

      Hi Mary Jane - Thanks for writing in--- my recommendation is that when you are aware of an intense reaction that you open your eyes and connect with you environment (you can check out some of the "orientation" videos on my youtube channel.) It also could be beneficial to work 1:1 with a Feldenkrais and/ or Organic Intelligence practitioner that can support you in the moment. You can email me if you would like some recommendations of practitioners. I also open up my online library of Feldenkrais lessons for free access the last few days of every month and I could recommend some more beginner friendly lessons & lectures...
      As for books, you could check the book called "Awareness Through Movement" or "The Elusive Obvious" by Moshe Feldenkrais. I also have a book where I illustrate Feldenkrais' writing with my drawings that is about the philosophy of the method----but I think the books will make sense after some more experiences...
