I remember going to Brian Master Subwoofer class in early 2013 and hanging with Doug while there. So cool seeing the advancements and contributions Mark has made over time since then. Long way from the table saw on the floor. Bless up!
Doug Dobson is the man! Pretty sure he's been to the most MS trainings other than Bryan himself. Haha. And yeah my floor router? Gotta start somewhere!
Wow! I was a professional installer for more than a decade. I even owned my own shop (still do, technically.) I’ve built enclosures out of everything you can think of (including concrete for a guy named Mark Clark, who used to be pretty famous in the IASCA circuit). While my favorite material nowadays is carbon fiber, I still enjoy making enclosures out of “Wood”. This enclosure is a work of art! I applaud you, sir! I have more than 30 years of experience, and I’m not easily impressed, but you have impressed me! I can’t wait to see more.
Jesus! I love the details and the end result is amazing but having the tools and ability to repeat what you did will be a tall order to fill! Badass box!
If the hole locations aren't dead accurate countersink screws will pull the panel out of place. Pan head allows for a degree of adjustment that is helpful for alignment.
Does the bass not blow that front cover with the magnets off? I know ND magnets are strong but I'd think those subs would be stronger. Cool build either way. One of these days I'll get a router table set up.
Where do you get your threaded inserts? I've used others that don't have the allen key as a way to tighten them and they are absolute garbage. These look much nicer.
Hi, I have watched a lot of your videos, but i can't find the answer to myself. I need a bit of help. So I'm thinking to change my speakers to my Ford Focus MK 2.5 because some of them do not work anymore. I'm going to keep my head unit and install a Plug-and-Play DSP with a build in amplifier of AXTON. For the front door I'm going with component Speakers + Tweetes. What should I use one the rear doors? Mid rage 6,5 inch woofers or 2 Way Coaxial speakers? Who gonna give me a bit more bass? Ps. Rear passengers are not a priority for me.
You need to build a larger table for your drill press. My press is floor standing, but my table is about 2x3 feet with two T tracks for clamps and a fence.
Backseat removable Mustang GT 1987 McLaren turn it to a speaker box like the one you have on here. Speakers will be facing upwards. And the back location were the backseats were located and removed.
@@CarAudioFabrication I had a 1984 Dodge Omni I placed 10 inch kicker speakers in each door somehow they fit perfectly back windows. Not sure if I ever ruled those down or not didn’t care.
Is 400 watt rms sub better then 150 watt rms sub? Could you test if I have equipment like yours I want do that. Because subwoofers rms power constantly increase but I think this is marketing strategy. I want in my car sub sound but my amps sub channel out is 280 rms at 2 ohm but I want two sub system. What could I do ? One 280 watt sub or two 150 watt sub ? Whats your advice please respond my question. I recently bought audison forza m8.14 bit 8 channel dsp amplifier but this amp two channel bridged 4 ohm 280 watt output power. 2 ohm 140 watt single channel output. Im confused. But I dont want buy another mono amp because I dont want upgrade cars stock electric system.
I think he means a side by side frame so on the left you have the box before you routed and on the right after the route. I am not talking trash or anything just i think thats what he meant@@CarAudioFabrication
I would like to know the total weight of the box once the subs and wiring are installed. most people don't consider this when building a system. this is a beautiful design but I'll bet it sags the rear of the car once installed. the max gvrw of an Elantra is 3800lbs. with four adult men in the car and the system I'm guessing the car is at it's max safe carring capacity which will significantly impact the handling of the car. Not to mention fuel economy.
Hello, I have a question. My front speakers are rated 80 rms and rear are 60 rms. My amp can do 100 rms. Should I set fronts and rear to their rated rms. Right now I have 80 rms to each
Dam I wish this guy could install my whole system 😮

Bro’s work is NEXT LEVEL….I’d loved to have had these types of things back when I worked doing car audio! Wow…
You always do such perfect and clean work. Love your channel and keep up the GREAT work!
The design looks just like my audi grill👌🏼
craftsman 🎉
High quality!
Counter sink screws instead of butthead screw, also help to minimize contact 👍 great work 🫡🙏

The outer trim ring is nowhere near the subs, also the magnets are in fact quite strong. It will not be an issue.
Why not use screws you could countersink? Or are you using the buttonheads to help locate?

Is the volume of this box larger than the factory recommendation?

Mark, can you make me a box 2 or 3 12's tuned to 32hz or 40hz??
Yes we can assist with a design blueprint, order via our site! 👍
Mark Sir, what glue did you use for the magnets? What did you spray over it and why?
CA glue... Accelerator speeds up drying
What u do is my lifetime dream

This is a project you are doing?
@@CarAudioFabrication yeah I’m thinking about it. It’s just a 41 inches wide by 17 inches Front back and Top the bottom box I would say 12 inches tall
@@CarAudioFabrication Z 350 Nissan box would fit somewhat ok

Do you hasn't custom enclosure designs on your site? For example, can I plug in my 2018 impala and dimensions and you tell me what I need?
You can order here: www.caraudiofabrication.com/box-designs We will request information after you order.
@CarAudioFabrication Thanks man! Appreciate your craftsmanship

Would’ve been cool to show before and after when using that router bit
Not sure what you are referring to. I literally showed every step I took.
