Tutti i sostantivi in italiano hanno un genere (maschile o femminile) e un numero (singolare o plurale). In questo video vediamo la regola di base per formare il plurale dei sostantivi.
Generalmente:
i sostantivi che finiscono in “-o” e in “-e” hanno il plurale in “-i” (es. 1 gatto - 2 gatti, 1 nave -2 navi)
i sostantivi femminili che finiscono in “-a” hanno il plurale in “-e” (es. 1 casa - 2 case)
i sostantivi che finiscono con una vocale accentata e i sostantivi stranieri non cambiano al plurale (es. 1 caffè - 2 caffè, 1 città - 2 città, 1 computer - 2 computer).
Questa è solo la regola di base, ci sono anche altre regole che vedremo in video di livello di più alto. Rimanete con noi! Consiglio: per sapere con più certezza se un sostantivo è maschile o femminile, singolare o plurale controllate l’articolo (la carne, le mani, il pesce, le chiavi).

In Italian all nouns have a gender ( masculine or feminine) and a number (singular or plural).
In this video we’ll see how to form the plural of nouns.
Generally:
nouns ending in “-o” and “-e” have the plural ending “-i” (e.g. 1 gatto - 2 gatti = 1 cat - 2 cats, 1 nave - 2 navi = 1 ship - 2 ships)
feminine nouns ending in “-a” have the plural ending “-e” (e.g. 1 casa - 2 case = 1 house - 2 houses)
nouns ending with an accented vowel and foreign words don’t change in the plural (e.g. 1 caffè - 2 caffè = 1 coffee - 2 coffees, 1 città - 2 città = 1 city - 2 cities, 1 computer - 2 computers).

Top tip: to be sure if a noun is masculine or feminine, singular or plural, look at the article (la carne, le mani, il pesce, le chiavi).
