Il verbo “fare” è un altro verbo importantissimo in italiano, usato in molte espressioni. In questo video vediamo alcune delle espressioni in cui si usa il verbo “fare”: fare la doccia, fare il bagno, fare colazione, fare una foto, fare la spesa, fare shopping, fare una passeggiata, fare da mangiare.
Vediamo anche come coniugare il verbo “fare” al presente:
(io) faccio, (tu) fai, (lui, lei, Lei) fa, (noi) facciamo, (voi) fate, (loro) fanno.
Scoprite la differenza tra “fa caldo” e “ho caldo”, “fa freddo” e “ho freddo”.
Ricordate che, tranne in alcuni casi, non usiamo il pronome insieme al verbo (diciamo “faccio”, non “io faccio”).
The verb “fare” is another very important verb in Italian and it is used in many phrases. In this video you’ll learn some expressions with “fare”: fare la doccia (= have/take a shower), fare il bagno (= have/take a bath), fare colazione (= have breakfast), fare una foto (= take a photo), fare la spesa (= do the shopping), fare shopping (= go shopping), fare una passeggiata (= go for a walk), fare da mangiare (= prepare food) .
You’ll also learn how to conjugate “fare” in the present tense:
(io) faccio, (tu) fai, (lui, lei, Lei) fa, (noi) facciamo, (voi) fate, (loro) fanno.
Discover the difference between “fa caldo” and “ho caldo”, “fa freddo” and “ho freddo”.
Remember that, except in specific cases, we don’t use the pronoun with the verb (we say “faccio”, not “io faccio”).

Yes I have found Marta to be very clear. Learning the alphabet is the most important for pronunciation. My teacher and I spent weeks on this and now I am praised for my pronunciation. Obviously people will know that you are not Italian but they do appreciate if you try. Good luck - I am 69

Fun fact: In islandese c'è il verbo "fara" que significa andare ma è molto spesso usato come fare. Quindi, fara í sturtu significa fare la doccia (andare nella doccia). Fara í morgonmat = fare colazione. Fara að versla = fare la spesa. Fare male a = fara illa með. Fara í göngutúr = fare una passeggiata.
